i have e same prob i think is bcoz our bike is like that de.. rpm 7k will start vibrate a bit 8k quite a lot but once e speed up to 120kmh and above cant really feel e vibration mayb due to e high speed divert our concentration ald ba..

is yours first hand bike or second hand bike?

mine's a second hand bike though.

oh i dont dare to go above 100km/h on my speedometer. cause whenever the bike rev until like 8k rpm or higher, the engine is like going to explode that kind of sound already lol.

furthermore like very funny, when i try to accelerate it hard. whenever it hits 8k - 10k already, the bike will like automatically rev itself to like 11k or 12k redline that section in between this period,

then the bike will have a very loud noise just like when you turn throttle and clutch in at the same time that kind of sound.

and then the rev will go down to some other numbers lower than 7k.

is that a norm again, or is it cause of the cdi or what so ever?

like cannot accelerate from idle to 12k redline smoothly. sians

kifakw

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

i wouldn't think that it's norm cos my bike has little or no vibration until 8k RPM. but you must know i lube my chain and pump my tyre every fortnight. also, i try and grease every moving part i can see. i don't have any balancers, so vibrations should increase, but i do wear gloves, so maybe that acts as buffer.

feel free to come for a test ride, cos if there is nothing to compare, how would i know my bike is having no vibrations?

your bike is a new bike right?

yeah by right i think it shouldn't have any vibration at all or what so ever.

cause i test ride one, the most early version of the cbr150 a FW plate 1. it just doesn't vibrate and just keeps on going till you release the throttle.

i wonder how many forumities have this problem.

or is the vibration due to the carburettors or the throttle cables or anything? hmms.

mine is same as yrs

the vibration comes only at rpms between 7 to probably ard 9K rpm then it will smoothen out after that

how much did you pay for the coolant?

i see, it's okay. if you never buang before, how to call yourself a rider what? lol

anyone got any ideas, how much is it to fix your throttle?

whenever you close your throttle, it doesn't snap close by itself. there's still abit left to close by yourself.

is it the throttle cable or anything else? :)

i bought the CBR150 thread 'approved' maxima cool aide at Mustafa for $18.40. LAB didn't sell. the bottle is about 2L, but i don't think i can use all of it. maybe take the remainder go pour in to the reserve or something. still trying to think of a way to remove the coolant in the reserve

does that includes the reserve coolant?

which level is it @ mustafa that has all the engine oil chain lub coolant shampoo everything? is it basement?

Guys, with rgds to my worries earlier about my FC..

other than the possible reasons behind the low FC stated my bro d0n^ earlier, can it be due to the meter guage thats with an error??

Heres what I meant:

Just now, me and derrick went JB for petrol run.. at the point of the petrol station when we move off, to a particular junction back in singapore liao, his meter reflected that he went a total of 24km while I oni did 17km based on my meter..

Today after I pump petrol, my FC calculated is as follow:

Start mileage - 4689.2km

End mileage - 4980.9km

Total mileage covered = 4980.9 - 4689.2 = 291.7

Petrol Pumped = 8.314L

FC = 291.7km / 8.314 L = 35.09km/L

SO! If considering the meter's error as mentioned, every 24km, my meter reflects 7km less, heres my new FC:

Total mileage covered (reflected on my meter) = 291.7km

Total distance that did not reflect on my meter = (291.7km / 24km) X 7km = 85.08km

My new FC therefore is:

Total Mileage = 291.7km + 85.08km = 376.78km

Petrol pumped = 8.314L

NEW FC = 376.78km / 8.314L = 45.32km/L

Hope the above is not too confusing and messy to understand.. what u guys think??? can this low FC problem be due to my meter's error?

Cos, if i take that 7km into consideration, it makes more sense right?

riding at top speed 80km/H, FC = 45km/L

hi guys ask the bike shop on the problem that he have then he say cos lazy change the front tyre to 90/80 instead of 80/90 so that might affect the difference but pls contiue on the cck to tamp and back to cck cos i also want to join in but must wait for him to came back now enjoying in thai liao

could the handlegrip be rubbing against the bar-end/balancers?

if not, then u need to check whether the throttle cable is positioned smoothly i.e. no sharp bends it needs to go thru

can consider lubricating the throttle cable w/ some leftover engine oil. u will be surprised by how smooth the throttle can be turned after that. hehe

there is no drain out plug or tube at the bottom of our coolant reservoir. besides sucking it out (please dont use a straw to suck! try the fishtank cleaning method is better), i tink the only other method will be to take out the entire reservoir container and empty out the coolant.

but then taking out the reservoir container isnt as simple as it seems. haha. i dint bother to change the coolant in the reservoir. juz wait for them to get circulated into the cooling system and mixed w/ the new coolant. =X
