i feel that low RPM change should go hand in hand with throttle opening.

Scenario 1: throttle opened 50%, RPM change 4K.

Scenario 2: throttle opened 20%, RPM change 4K.

i would think that scenario 2 would take longer to get up to speed, but be more fuel efficient as overall the throttle is kept on conservative.

reiterates my point of hard acceleration and breaking is an inefficient way of driving, both bike and cars. and so goes people slapping themselves and asking why it hurts when they zip from one red light to another.

oh, my last 3 FC calculations are: 50Km/L, 46Km/L and 48Km/L.

WOAH, 50 km/litre. tat's very good fuel consumption as good as a Honda Wave hahaha. What's the speed you travel everytime?

The highest i managed so far will be around 42 km/litre only. damn sad :( but nevertheless it's still a very money saving bike :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

So let say 90km/h is the best for car. Will our bike be around 110km/h on our speedo? Cause our bikes speedo tends to go haywire as compared to car's reading.

kifakw

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

well the funny thing is i'm not a slow rider. on the expressways or on an empty road, i may be doing anything from 100 to 120. the only difference is that i'm light on the throttle, and am usually the last to take off at the traffic light. i take a while to get up to speed. also, i free wheel a lot, especially when i see a red light ahead, of course making sure no car is tail gating.

i guess i just take it easy, after all, i'm in holiday mood right now.

I'm also curious. This is not a part that easily spoils and your bike not that old ... seems you have a lot of changes/repairs (either cause of personal choice or cause of things break). I guess what they say is true: if it aint spoilt, dont fix it :thumb:

Thats absolutely true, even I knew one of my bike part is spoilt, I dont wish to change it as it costs me 85 bucks... :sian:

Honestly, Im not quite sure why the magneto coil spoilt (coz im not expert). But I guess its becoz of my itchy hand.

Guys, ride safely. Road is not for playing.

idling lor... the engine is running.. then he go pull.. then engine die ..

its like what was explained already...engine already running steadily, u pull choke will cut off air supply, for sure engine will die...

Only use choke when starting and then, once running, can push back in already... not supposed to use when already running/warm engine..

Dealers dun stock the Original bec those from Thailand comes as acid filled MF, they normally bring in the dry type into SG, then fill up with acid to sell. Anyway the battery part numbers are different but same application. :)

Too bad David but better luck next time. Will bring camera and take pictures but as highlighted already, this motor culture magazine will tag along and arrange the professional pictures (at least I hope they will be professional). So either way you can see pictures later...:)

TT900 is refering to Dunlop T900 isit? Im not sure about double T or single T got to check it out then I know, but Im using Dunlop T900 or TT900, only rmbr the 900. Its alot better compare to stock tyre which is very slippery. Cornering also very nice. So far so good.

If Im not wrong it cost me 190 for both front n rear. Maxima cost me 24, rear brake pads (honda original brake pad) cost me 18 or 28 (forgot already). For the Spark plug, i just get 1 at 7 which is U27ESR-N, but for normal is U24ESR-N.

You can add all together lor. Happy changing. :cheeky:

Hello guys,

Just got myself a CBR150 and I'm a newbie... I have a few questions about certain parts and where to get them:

1) foot pegs - comfortable aluminium type(silver is best), what brand and where can i get this?

2) Front clear visor? the part where your number plate is pasted?

Is there a bike shop that carries CBR150 parts, maybe I can just go there to buy the items I need.

My bike is in pretty good conditon but I would like to change a couple of things to make her a little nicer.

Thanks!!!

For Pilot sporty, how fast does it wears off like roughly how many thousand Kms?

The difference between Pilot and BT its about $20 - $30 whereas for dunlop its like around $50 - $60.

Anyone sprayed their rims before?

If you did, where did you spray and how much did you paid for it?

Did you wait a few days or you collected on the day itself?

Was the quality good?
