Hmmm, ok, though I still feel like 5th gear is too high a gear... Do you think I can try to corner on 4th gear? Is 3rd gear too low, as in will I spoil my engine? I am rather afraid of spoiling my engine that way.

 

What do you recommend?

 

Depends how tight the turn is. Usually for those turns at junctions, i think gear 3 should be alright. Generally better to be at lower gears, cause there's better engine braking, and also u are in the rpm range where u can throttle if need to.

 

Don't worry too much about spoiling engine that way it won't easily spoil, unless u redline every gear la.

is there such a thing as i trade in my cbr for another cbr? how would the procedures go at the bike shop or with another owner if there is?

 

i'm considering it b4 it makes one round on its mileage meter..

is there another cbr150 rider who is trading his/her bike w/ yrs?

seems weird to do the trading w/ pte buyer/seller leh!

 

if yr bike still under installment, the person taking over yr bike need to do new reloan and transfer of ownership etc.

 

do take note there could be early termination/settlement charges for your end.

 

mine is completing the round on odometer in another 2500KM~

anyone want to be there w/ me at this historical moment??

 

if it makes more economical sense to send yr bike for internal maintenance, then i suggest u keep the bike and renew its lifespan. u never know if u will suay suay change to another bike in a worse off condition. buying 2nd hand bikes is like a gamble.

okay..guess u got it for free..!! grr... i think if its about the holes, think i can try get it drilled out.. or better still, i get some chrome paint, paint on the transparent part of stock bubble..hee..! then its gona look nice and shiny..=)

anyway, the holes on the plastic bubble can be widened easily using normal drill. to achieve correct positioning, advice is to take out the old windshield and overlap onto the bubble and do the drilling. like that, no horse run liao!

 

sticky number plate can do at LAB for smth like $8 (sticker alone w/o the metal plate behind). but waiting time is going to be long as they outsource the operations to other shops or at a separate location frm their shopfront.

no. no one trading with mine. why would anyone wanna trade a newer bike with an older one? i was thinking of: whoever wants to sell off their cbr, be it to another person, or back to shop, can sell to me instead or not? so they can get rid of theirs, and i can get rid of mine too.
