Honda parts dealer say stock good enough. Derrick uses EBC, but i recall he looking for goldfren. i use fizzpower, available at Chong Aik.

I've read many many good stuff abt EBC... Last time i play MTB disc brake also use EBC..

 

 

but wonder is it still the same as before for motorbikes... Mmm..

what i was told by Everfit people is that the more gold bits in there, better.

gold bits?! really.. but the gold bits are not GOLD right?! they are like ceramics of stuff like that right? mm

 

 

anyway.. do i needa rebleed the brake system? my rear one looks fine so i think no need.. but the front one is... like milo...

 

 

and also, when i brake arh.. my bike will vibrate one eh... do u think the front rotors are warped? its uber scary.. when i was going at 90 like tat.. i press front brake it will vibrate like VVv hard eh!

Wait a minute.... If I rmbred ur latest sms correctly, u wont be going with us tmrw morning right? :confused:

 

For brake pads, Im not so sure. Last time I change (made in Japan) in my previous bike shop, I dono the brand. I only know that its made in Japan. I can feel the difference becoz the front 1 still stock & I can say that my rear brake is more effective than my front brake. :angel:

 

Btw, anyone of u who cant go above 100 km/h, pls change ur plug (stock plug, NGK CR8E or Denso U24ESR-N) immediately. I can confirm that it is caused by the plug. I encountered this problem just now. Then I rmbr Zed said about this, so I immediately change the plug & fantastically the problem was solved. :thumb:

Hmm that is a bit steep...

 

I remember buying a pair of battlax at Ah Boy for $165. Includes labor, but you have to follow the guy to the workshop. Not that far, but I'll definitely get lost going there alone...

 

Has the price increased?

I had that problem before when I took my first fall. Apparently I warped my disc brakes. Cost me about forty to buy the part at Ah Boy and a friend helped me fix it.

 

Maybe this info isn't helping, but I WAS trying to help...

i changed my pair at HKL for $160, with labour.

 

maybe rubber prices have gone up again? i dunno..

Hmm... Rotors is Disc Brake the Disc... You knw the Disc = Rotors. I dont know of you all call it rotors.. haah ya so rotor = disc.. Hmm.. i just wanna change my one back to stock honda one.. My battlax is 195 inclusive of labor also... aiyo.. why my one so ex one everytime.. zzz :giddy:

With the price u paid, u can get a pair of Dunlop GP900TT + 5 kopi ping. Anyway, it doesnt matter, so long as u r happy with ur ride, dont think too much on the price. :)

 

If u ask me, I prefer u to call it disc brake instead of rotor. LOL Use the simplest english, so everyone understand. :D

soli lar... i last time play mtb use disc brake i say disc brake the disc.. i go 10 shop... all 10 shop will say..

 

Me: "Halo. you have disc brake the disc? My one warp already.. how much is one har?"

 

 

Shop uncle: " Har? No lar.. not disc brake the disc.. is rotors.. "

so i got used to the term lol anyway.. any idea where to get straight and true and nice disc brake disc? i need one badly.. where to get? just want the stock ones or OEM one can le.. hua chin sold out.. and roughyl how much is it huh:thumb:
