aiyah, why u worry? this bike going be with u for a few years at least mah, why u worry about the devalutaion? after 2nd yr the price will more or less be more stable liao. 3 or 4 yr bikes are going for 2.2 to 2.5 liddat wan.

 

i wonder why the FY bike so cheap, maybe the bike went through a number change leh? so it's actually quite old liao? u never know. :smile:

Hey.........if U feel tt the price is shocking - Y not consider a 2nd CBR150 then. I personally feel tt they are good value - I din buy a 2nd CBR150 bec am thinking of keeping the bike for quite a while. I do travel to Scudai 2-3 times a week so din want the hassle of a breakdown with wear & tear tt comes wif a used bike. So U see it is very personal thing - who did U wanted most to coment on the low prices ??

BTW, my 2nd bike tt I use for travel to do sales in Johore was bought for s$50 onli back like 20 years ago ...... hahaaaaa tt poor thing never gave up on me once .... I still remember the number F ? 9168 ..........

Look at it this way - if I sell my CBR150 now & retain my Number, the CBR will get the new Number but she is older than the new Number would indicate. So it is better to check how old is the bike rather then depend on the Plate Nos. indication...

If u want to buy from albert, i would suggest u get him to write everything down on paper and then don't pay installment there. He seems nice, but then . do a search on them in the forums, got many interesting things abt them. I don't want to say anything bad abt him just advice. Ltr kann lawyer letter.

u see huh, if i sell my FZ plate bike now, it would be abt 2.5k, i sell after 3 - 4 years also around the price less a few hundred bucks nia. Singaporeans always like that one, if after a yr sell to bike shop for 3.5K right, then bike shop would want to make a profit also then sell 4K. New bike is 4.8K nia, if i were to go to the shop and see, 800 bucks more can get new bike already.

i would get the FY plate with free box

 

yes, using fully syn eng oil will be better for the eng. more details i can send u the link for the properties of fully syn eng oil. too many things to type in here liao

a rough guide will be 5000km n 3000km respectively. other den that, if u feel the EO is thinin or gear change not smooth . time to get it changed.

for me, i change EO myself, n m a lazy bugger, so i use fully syn.

the viscousity of semi syn eng oil remains almost the same at hgh or low temp. whereas the viscousity of fully syn eng oil is sensitive to temp. was told by apollo during the talk with him 4 days ago. really looking forward to the 1 day techincal course.

I chooese the Fy plate one. Newer and with box just 200 bucks more nia.
