tie is one thing. best is to put at the base of the box and pile your raingear on top. so that all the danger is below and there is weight above to secure.

if u have drinks da bao in a paper cup w/ plastic lid, e.g. coke from macs, can always hang them in a plastic bag outside using the helmet hooks. i learnt this the hard way.

i ta pao murtabak then they give the curry in a tied up plastic bag. i dare not put below anything leh.... i scared if add pressure then kaboom inside. so i ask him for extra plastic bag, meaning the tied up packet is in 1 tied up plastic bag, which is in another tied up plastic bag.
