hey dude, there are many CBR150Rs with boxes installed and i feel that they do not look outta place, it's alright wan cuz in terms of looks the CBR150R is not a true sports bike so it doesn't look funny with box.

 

well if u install side boxes it'll make a decent tourer i guess, but u can't put boxes as big as those on phantoms lahz! haha. with a pillion it's kinda hard to work the engine. so it'll be a single personel tourer le. :smile:

Something is certainly wrong. My gf rode it Sat afternoon while raining and then Sunday it was playing up again. No power and won't rev past 7k rpm or so. After riding all the way from Woodlands to Orchard then it cleared up again.

exactly the same problem i encountered. cant rev more den 7k rpm at all.

 

time to change air filter n spark plugs.

I've seen one like this. Whatever works for you and for practicality. Don't let other ppl's juddgement affect how you make use of your bike. Just remember that will all that extra weight and wind resistance it could/will affect the performance, handling, fuel consumption and top speed etc.

well, nobody in our thread did that before ah. u wan u can be the first. haha. NSR150SP and CBR150R fairings are quite different in terms of size, bolts and design. it's probably too big to fit onto CBR150R ba. :smile:

why not ask first motor, should be able to make it for u la. Price wise, expect a few hundred bucks.

i going to get bike on tuesday i think man..

but mine very troublesome cos i doing insurance myself..

 

got some questions..

the bike shop need your insurance before they reg for u?

cos the insurance part i need to give the number plate, chassis number, cc, engine number all tat stuff..

how to get the log card since they need my insurance to do the transer..

get wat i mean,,,?

i called them they say they stil checking on the proceduces...

damn blur now..

can anyone help......

BBDC is offering a lower rate for my club members. took me 2 months to persuade them. r u working in nTU? if u r, den u can join my club to get the cheaper rate for the defensive riding course.

Wah..quite expensive.. considering a road lesson is about $30+ so u guys interested in the full day one or the half day one?? i am all for it... provided i can make it for the particular day...

insurance thing is very subjective

 

it depends on ur age, ur passing date, and NTUC's policy.

 

we cant help u is becoz since 1st of oct 2005, NTUC's policy changed alot. so those who got their insurance b4 1st of oct, will not know wat the new insurance policy is abt. im sorry for ur situation but wat i can say is, either u go down to NTUC and check urself. if not, go to bike shop and ask them to do it for u. u wont save as high as $250. at most $50 i can tell u.
