There was this accident that killed the rider, what is the outcome ?

Hi guys

 

there was this report i think one or two months back regarding the rider who was kill...can't remember where.

 

I think he was hit by one vehicle and then ran over by another vehicle which were driven by a woman, she did not stopped but proceeded to the airport to fetch her hubby and after that did not report to the police until a few day later when she received the summon then she appear.

 

So was justice serve to this lady ? .....suddenly no news

 

Anyone knows what happen ?

I'll bump on this thread as well.

I wanna know the outcome.

 

This rotten lady so bad, drive to the airport pick her husband and never help the police with the investigation.

 

May the decease come and disturb her and husband everynight.

It was on the home page....half a page on it...anyway, I think June or May Straits Time, I recalled only after I read about another accident which happen in 2005 on Straits Time today home section, you can miss it - pic of a totalled car

that was the coroner's inquiry, which had nothing to do with the drivers being charged. trials for offences will take place in a different court.

The Coroner's Inquiry, performed by the Coroner's Court, will try to determine the cause of death for cases like this. In the case that you quoted, both the potential defendants (the first one who knocked the rider down, and the second one who ran over the rider while he was struggling to get up) went up to the stand but chose to keep quiet. Thus it was ruled as an open verdict. An open verdict is recorded when the circumstances in which death occurred are not clear.

So, the case will be pushed back to the in-charge case. (E.g. Skeletons found - back to CID. Traffic cases - back to TP etc) and from there, the charges will be decided. In this case, the lady clearly did not stop to render assistance and also removed her vehicle from the accident scene.
