I've just re-contracted my singtel hp line and got the nokia 5070 for free last month. (21months)

Qn: Do i get those free auto roam, free caller id etc like signing up a new line?

I've just got the bill and I'm charged for those.

I use pay-as-you-autoroam.

 

Why were you charged for it? Maybe you'd better call them to clarify their way of billing ya.

It depends on wat promotions is going on at the time of ur signing . Sometimes , free caller id is for new line sign up onli . Best to check ur contract for details .

 

Sometimes i rather cancel my old line when the contract expires n get a new line as getting new line often have more freebies thrown in .

Just called them and the customer service officer said it is not free...sianz, should have just signed up a new line.

normally when you get a new line from singtel.. many free thing like voicemail, calling number display etc etc... but sum afte 3 months, 6 months or a year you have to pay monthly... u have to call in and cut it off...

 

auto roaming having a month $5... pay as you roam the rates are 20% higher than normal.. but no monthly fee lar

Yups agreed...totally depends on the promo...you should have ask them about this...Assume is a very bad thing to do heheh.

 

Get a higher plans if you always go out of the country. I believe some higher plans, autoroam or maybe voicemail is free.

there's difference between signing new line and recontrat.

 

when sign new line telco offer better deals then recon.

 

if u are on starhub you can call to waive the caller number display...
