[sold] MWTS: 2003 Honda ST1300A

Hi all,

 

As mentioned in the title.

 

I am the 2nd Owner. (First owner rode it for close to 10 years and sold it to Ah Chong, Planet and I took over)

 

Currently mileage is 16XXXX KM

 

COE is until 03/2023.

 

Average consumption (70% Highway 30% Minor Road) for me is about 17KM/L. As for touring FC, sad to say I have not ride it across the custom.

 

It is pretty much a stock bike as it is good enough on it's own.

 

Comes with a voltmeter, a 48L Coocase, new stock rear suspension changed on Apr.

 

If the price is right, I will throw in a set of RAM Mount with X Grip.

 

Asking price will be S$14,500 (Fully paid. Please source for your own reloan).

 

Negotiate only upon viewing. Any sms with regards to price negotiation will be ignored.

 

No test ride allowed, will pillion you if required.

No test ride? How to buy?

 

First of all, thank you for showing interest.

 

Secondly, ST1300 weighs about 300KG or more. What happens if you dropped it? Will you pass me the full $15,000 in cash immediately for the bike?

 

Thirdly, being caught riding a motorcycle without proper insurance coverage, will cause both our licenses to be revoked. You think you are worth for me to take this kind of risk?

 

I have sold bikes to people without letting them test riding, I did pillion-ed them though. Smart people will understand and respect the decision.

 

Moral of the story? No test riding is allowed.

Some people just want to come for joy ride. Dont really see the point of test riding class 2 bike around the carpark vicinity. Wanna test must go to NSH properly test the bike, but then again that is after you have paid the full asking price of the bike.

BMW does have test riding but i think you need to give them some assurance like credit card maybe? :/

Actually when I sell my bike I dun even mention no test ride, cos I feel it is understood. If buyer ask to test ride, I will ask do you have valid insurance?
