stock 09 model. cruz at 100 - 120km daily (average abt 50km) before reserve is abt 240km last bar 260km max out before last bar blink but to be frank when you reach last bar ur bike cant cruz at 100-120km cause ur bike will run out of petrol anytime. I usually reach 240 i will cruz at 70-90km and find the nearest petrol station possible.

RMD - i am actually looking for green color then of cause saw some bike shop at this forum having promo... email to enquire promo still on. I ask for the color from the person, from green can give me yellow. Then nvm finally got the color right then he say no stock, i say i am not in the rush dun might waiting for shipping, he say no promise how long will reach. I told him the most i give u 6mth for the item to arrive, he say anot no promise, die die also wan me to choose other color. I die die also dont want, so he is nice enough to check for valhell and got green at 230 incl installation.

 

I mean 230 i still find abit steep as i do have other bike shop offer me valhell at a cheaper rate but of cause got green anot i never ask. My personal prefer will be Hel as compare to valhell, not really the price but just for the performace. I know you guy will say both about the same not much different must as well get brambo right... well nothing much to compare just personal preferance.

 

Is there a way to call Excel to enquire whether got green color for HEL, i also see someone saying that there is no 'cersor' from that shop ??? can explain further

well bike shop it depend on ur own... personally i go to Ah tak (Tachyon motor) there to do all my servcing, he open late and do things very detail. He dont push you to buy high end stuff and try to work around ur budget. If i got time usually i will go down to bikewerk at shun li industrial park to do, i trust ah beng on my bike... they have also of customer on weekend especially from lunch time onward, usually take about min 2hrs to do service. That is part of the reason why i didnt go there do unless i am around that area then i can go my fren place at ubi then go collect bike. For me his skill is ok and trustworthy, do everything nice nice for you and lastly he charge a reasonable price.

 

Well after all it's all depend on you where do u wan to service your bike... there is no right or wrong bike shop. It's how comfortable you are with the mach who do ur bike. Some ppl like 'xxx shop' some ppl hate going to 'xxx shop' so end of the day you are the buyer / user of the bike decision is up to you.

 

* I will recommend you to service your bike since u just got it from ur friend unless u know him very well and know how he take care of his bike* For end can if it's legal u can ask him to transfer the pipe cert to ur name, go LTA do the transfer, if cert lost i think u got to ask him where he buy it from and get copy from the shop.

is there a ECU inside the 05 model?

 

he add on a slip on micron pipe... was wondering where to get the cert also, coz he kinda lost it and i heard micron close down already.

well both price are not much different... i mean i am user who use Hel - Valhill and after all still prefer Hel... well to me both also can but most impt is i can get green and the person who install is trustworthy and lastly not too pricey

come service with me over at Unique..

i believe micron now cannot be legalize already..i have no idea who the distributor is in Spore if it existed that is..so to be safe u need to change to stock or get a new legal aftermarket endcan..

Last time i was looking for green colour too and there was stock but then decided to go stealth and buy black instead..if u insist on having green then perhaps u can give Excel a call at 68422360..i think the shop is not willing to bring in just 3 pieces of brakeline for u so they say that way..6mths is a long time for them to bring in anything even an imported bike..

performance wise i dont get the difference..as long as its stainless steel its good enough even for tracking..if its titanium then u must someone who has no idea what to do with your money..as to the price difference maybe perhaps the swivel unions and banjo bolts are of better material..

As for servicing , i was looking for a shop that could do up honda bikes. than do a one time off full servicing to see what have to be replace for wear and tear in the engines itself, if there is a need , do a remapping on the ecu.

 

Just wanted to ask around to see what you guys are doing out there.

bcos ah boon told me the muffler has been taken out..so u always patronise republic??

 

ic.. nah, its not been taken out.. i juz checked juz now.. not always, juz a couple of times, but i go there to wash bike only.. coz its realli cheap n gd workmanship..

well if u wan someone who specialist in honda bikes go back boon siew lor... but very very pricey and also workmanship is average only.

 

as i mantion those 2 that i visit are ok if you go ah tak there is so alot alot of class 2 bike. He have move to tampines, u can find his address and contact no in the forum. As for racewerk as i say unless u dun might wasting ur weekend afternoon or go on weekday to service. Look for ah beng and tell him i recommend you to come his shop, if he cant remember him tell him the cbr600 green bike he will know. So far i am the only green cbr go there service. I am going maybe mid month or month end to do my signal light again. If u can wait u can come along too, i usually go on a weekend.

I just check with Excel their brakehose are slightly cheaper... but... no green color available and cannot order. The quoute me 140 for hel stock color / 160-180 for valhill stock color incl installation.

your micron is full system??btw im not knowledgeable about this power band thing but eversince i change to 520 conversion kit i feel the torque is good at low end too before 6k rpm..

thats the shop where i did my brakelines..initially wanted green colour but they say must order thus i choose black instead..i cannot wait..brake very important..tell u the truth i dont think green will ever be in stock even if u willing to wait..its not a colour in demand so shops dont bring them in..for HEL brand that is..

RMD - the local agent for suppiler HEL will not bring in green color. I hear from my mach... due to no high demand. Haiz... think either i stick with black HEL or maybe decide to go get green venhill
