Hi guys, i just got a 03cbr600rr. Want to say hello and also check something with you guys...100km/h at top gear is it at 5000rpm? cos my rpm is slightly abv 5k when i stay at 100km/h.....my idling also slightly jumpy at ard 1400 as in it twitches while idling....is that normal? my bike is fitted with GPR slip-on, does that make a diff? thanks and ride safe!

Hmm.. my 04 is running at 90km/hr only at 5k rpm.. now it seems like mine is having problem..

Practical Test Checklist:

√ Never at fault no matter what happens

hmm...my 100km/h is ard 5200-5300rpm....also fuel consumption i got was ard 16.8km/l.....is that normal for this bike? (half expressway, half city riding)

 

not sure if its my bike tuning is off....so just want to check with u guys before i bring to shop to check out :cheeky:

 

otherwise its could be just me not used to sports bike riding...hehe...so far...cbr600 is a gd ride....:thumb:

sorry to hijack. i must say something. it's rare to find people selling their honda cbr 600rr. seems like ppl are not willing to let go of their cbr600rr which means, it's an awesome bike!im so gonna get it next time. haha.ride safe!

ok thanks, good to hear that. Will ask my mech to check out also when install hella horn this weekend....the stock horn really cannot make it :faint:

nothing u can tune unless u installed a pc3 or something similar. and yes stock horn is 1 of the 1st few items i replaced on mine.:cheeky:

Haha... Yeah, stock horn i replace on the 1st day of my ride....

 

Took out from my old bike and installed on my RR....

cheapest is those ebay brandless types or maybe hunter brand from hkl ard 300+

higher end well known and commonly use are voltex, arata, valtermoto, sato, gilles. between 500-700+

do take note most dun have brake switch. but u can get those banjo switches.

good thing is u can adj it so dat ur knee/ inner thigh 'grips' the tank. less chance of scraping the pegs

bad thing is they tends to bend/ break easily compared to oem in an event of low slide but this is to prevent damage to the frame.

 

if only we can fix those sp/ krr yoshi, pop dominos, racing boy.. :cheeky:

 

how great the idea is to change it is actually up to ur self.

Aiya... 1 branded footrest 500 to 700 plus... Why not spend on other stuff that can up u power of the bike... Like PC or full sys la...

Honestly my skill not even able to control the power of the stock bike already, if up the power ah, than jialet liao..

 

was thinking of getting the accessories that can help me mover the bike better once the can control abit more already than up the power lor.
