no lah, after done all the check ytd. Insurance cost me about 500++. But super broke now lor after rectifier and battery went down recently. Might have to wait till next month to track already

 

So near yet so far. . . Rear sets also cost a bomb sia.. hai~

can someone tell me wat is the different for brembo master pump 19RCS 16x18 & 19x20.

 

19 rcs with the bore of 19mm switchable to either 18mm or 20 mm stroke

18mm modulating feel (when depress lever will feel spongy -> stiff as the brakes bite)

20mm stiff initial bite

Comes with brake switch.

 

16mm bore X 18mm stroke (mostly seen on oem r6 or r1)

supposedly used for singled disc brakes

modulating feel

oem with brake switch

aftermarket no brake switch

 

19mm bore X 20mm stroke

same feel as our oem brakes but of cos better built quality and preformance.

mostly aftermarket without brake switch.

 

micro brake switch for most aftermarket brembos but sold separately and not cheap.

mostly ppl fix a banjo pressure brake switch for those aftermarket levers as cheaper alternatives to pass inspection to light up the brake lights

but not good in terms of safety.

there might be a double action feeling when u depress the lever if the quality of banjo is those low end quality.

the brake light wont light unless certain amount of pressure is attain before the lights are lit.

imo ok for aftermarket rearset (most likely cannot fix back oem switch unless with some mod done) if u wanna retain brake light function when using rear brakes but no no for front as sometimes we might need to tap our front (without the intention to slow down) to alert drivers/ riders behind dat we are going to brake soon or maybe alert of TPs/ ROVs ahead or any situation occurs.

all levers be it oem or aftermarket can be changed but the bore & stroke cannot.

i'm using rcs. which the stroke can switch between 18mm or 20mm.

like some experts says their performance is half fxxk compared to those dedicated 19X20 or 19X18 levers.

don't worry bro am like you. you go to track already than you will be one. if you have the full riding gear than come along lor. if you mean your bike gear than will ask you to come along, cause you can always ride your bike in stock.

Honestly, I felt the old models of Brembo brake pumps really has a very big difference in the braking feel...they in fact deliver a harder braking feel and faster biting...I am using RCS19 myself and the soft braking feel is freaking me out during high speed...but still it is as effective compared to the older models just that the feel is softer and biting is slower...

 

well of cause to max out get a fix one that suit u will be better but if u cant decide and u r stuck in between then i think 19rcs is better

Personally, i find that Brembo is much better but only on TRACK.

Why i say Brembo is better? cos it dun fade easily on the track unlike Stock.

Reason why i have to change to stock cos i can't use due to certain reason.
