The Japanese bikes are fantastic but agent support is the worse....... In fact the distributor support are much more well equipped. BMW maintenance expensive I agree but their warranty no horse run one.....

I don't go to them cos their attitude put me off. Thinking everybody cannot afford their bikes.

hi bros & sista

anybody ridden from chiang rai to kunming?any info is useful.cheers.

from chiang rai go to chiang kong do paper wurk at the office bside the police station den go to jetty clear custom, pay the boat op for ur bike crossing..a small office there also..load bikes on pontoon(like RPL n i tink e last crossing is at 6 or 7pm..forgot lah bro)once u reach laos the custom off is not at the landing side, its at the other side abt a few min ride.from there to boten(kunming border)rd is nice but from there to luang prabang is hell rd.its the only rd there.its like their highway except its all sand n rocks.if u ride gs ktm vara or strom its ok but if u ride sports or tourer den gd luck to you bro.its up n down mountain.it makes mae hong son looks like genting highland(suddenly it makes ur mae hong son cert not important anymore he he)its left hand drive so we ride on the other side.but nice scenery along the way.then again its a good xperience.hopes dis helps..cheers:cheeky:
