then how nEO, are u planning to move on to something else now?

or have u a soultion to moving the pwr further down the pwr band?

change sprocket?

re-mapping ecu?

The solution to my problem is found on the GTR1400 - Variable valves.

I'm getting around the problem now by keeping the RPMs above 4000. Not very good for the tyres, or my licence though... :p

im surprised, read a couple of reviews on the zx14 and they all said great smooth pwr delivery from the bottom end.......i dont think they meant above 4k rpm did they?

or is this only an issue after u get adjusted to the bike's pwr? :giddy:

they'll promise you anything before you sign on the dotted line...

have you paid anything? do you have any black and white to prove yourself??

if theres compensation for late delivery, quite a no. of shops in spore would have gone bust from empty promises to endless customers.

if u didnt pay a cent.

i suggest u keep your options open.

and if u managed to get yours yr end, try to get a '09.

makes a diff. when u sell.

a slight difference :p

Off topic, I was tailing a GTR once. Those things, with four wheel drive, playstation electronic traction control and Sequential gearboxes, are ridiculously quick off the line.

which gtr?

the r32-33-34 were all "limited" to 206kW.

the latest ones does 0-100 in 3.5sec, your ninja should have no issues brushing them off day and night right? :thumb:

The new Nissan GTR, not the older Skyline GTRs.

Its not easy to get a perfect launch to clock 3 second 0-100 times whereas the driver just floors the accelerator and let the traction control do its thing.

I have similar thoughts. ZX14 may be very powerful, but most of the power is quite unusable in 'normal' riding. Can someone put the GTR1400 engine in the ZX14? :D

wanna swop engines???

I really don't mind!

Bear in mind you gotta live with like 30% less torque where you need it most, below 5000rpms.

30% less torque??? waa... i sometimes stall my engine when i let go my clutch too fast...

my 1st gear too tall liao...

yea, thats the 1 thing with bikes, I guess it takes a bit of practice to get the launch right, knowing which rpm to drop the clutch.

would the c14 be any easier, taking into account its shaft driven and slightly heavier than most regular 1L bikes with less hp.......
