hey guys, my last tank of gas only lasted me 230km, tt means abt 12km/l..

 

is something wrong? i'e to admit i'm rather heavy wristed for it. anyway i'm at 9000 km now.. do i need to change anything other than eo?

is it time to change plugs or air filter?

side question, should i get iridium plugs or just norm plugs?

hi solowing, welcome to the thread.

well buying this bikes hae lots of pros and cons.

 

being an objective person, just let me list down the cons, cuz the pros, just read from the rest..

 

my bad exp is tt u'e to wait darn long for the bike. i was hung closed to 6 mths. almost forgot how to ride when i got my bike. then also, this bike, like many others in its class, is expensive.. to own and maintain. spare parts wise, not tt its not avaliable, but its always a bit more than its peers. n also like many in its class, its heavy and revversing upslope by urself is mission impossible 4.

 

one last con abt buying a gtr is that the owner group is really v v v small, if not for this forum, i would had felt tt i'm the only gtr owner in sg. so looking for a mass gtr orgy is virtually impossible. from wat i know, easy riders and moto v have the 2 largest gp of gtr owners, 4 in motov (5-6 if u incl zzr14) and another 5-6 in easy riders.

 

i'm hoping the day of the 14s orgy, in which may nv ever come true.. sadz

thanx alot Aurium for ur feedback.... i just call mr lee today.. he told be that there will be a shippment coming this april (6 bike). the next shippment will be 4 to 5 mth times or longer. he try to insert in 1 more order for mi by 2molo... so really hope the order will thru.

If you are buying from Looi's motor usually Mr Lee very accurate 1. I had been a long time customer of his. Price wise maybe slightly more expensive but at the end of the day you will not need to wait for 6 months and after signing paper tells you plus this and plus that. Just let you have 1 price.

haha... just come back from looi's, mr lee told mi too late to place in order for april liao as the shippment have left... but he say there will be 1 coming late may... so i have make my order and deposit haha... can't wait to see my GTR haha.

say that the bike is very cool and nice. but i got 1 problem face in my new bike.

the saddlebag will drop when i drop in some hole ( the hole deep about 4") in about 80km/h something like that. have any 1 face this problem b4?

or any 1 can help me to settle this problem?

Did you put the panniers with the yellow stickers facing the front? Cos when I first got the bike I had it the other way thinking the stickers should face the black.

 

Is yours a white colour ones? Last week on the way back from KL got 6-7 white GTR overtook me...

my GTR is Neutron Silver ( izit that u mean white colour). that day is not me.

coz my bike just have done 2++ km only, still no have time to ride yet.

back to seddlebag topic: i haved check all is Correctly. but i have feel that the bracket of seddlebag got some lose lah, coz when push the bag, the bracket will out of position. izit ur seddlebag got drop b4 this ? my 2 friend also face this problem also. they so unluckly coz the seddlebag break up already. them they claim back fr seller.

There were some discussion over at overseas forum the lock barrel having problems. The side pannier will unlatched upon hitting a pot hole at high speed. So far mine's ok. Suggest you take it back to the shop and make a claim on this.
