I would definitely stay away from a dealer who does this kind of practice, 3 guys 3 quotes is ridiculous. Just not honest. Must do the same for servicing.

At least at Loois, even if COE goes up, price quoted is firm.

I see your point, but even with the most expensive quote, its still 2k cheaper OTR than Loois.

For interest sake, the guy who turned up in shorts and singlet on the 2b bike had the lowest price. :)

Maybe i should go borrow a skateboard or rollerblades.........:dot:

I have similar experience before. Mine due to heat issues.

It was a very hot day, my bike engine starts to show something.

It comes and go with no trance of malfunction after that.

If yours is not due to the hot weather then I can't help explain any further. :p

Hope your bike ok with no premature failure. :p

Thanks for ur input bro. Just to update you guys, I have found the cause. The day when this happened, I was using a tank mounted bag. My mobile phone was in it. When my phone rang, it was causing some kind of interference with the system and displayed the FI error. I tried it again and yes it was it. So no worries. Technology and its cons... o_O

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

I quoted 27K maybe because I walk in ... :p

Info gather gets handy thanks to internet invention.

These crappy bikeshops quotes still think we are stupid or what ...

We can do what is best for us. :p

the rest of the quotes were also from walk in customers.

maybe his price varies with the fluctuating JPY.

Dynojet being American:

HP for power and lb/ft for torque.

155hp claim is base on the crank.

ohayo dyno 136.84 is on the wheel. :p

The beauty of the C14 engine is VVT.

Although, C14 has a less camshaft profiles but VVT gives you a very nice response.

I can't image if Kawas Engineers have decided someday to load in VVT with high cams into ZX14.

I must say that will be a big wow factor. :p

My Dynojet, on same bench as Ohayo, done by same mechanic:

Torque 93 lb/ft

HP 146.92

You should witness my torque at 2000 RPM, with PCV and flies out, Ohayo has, and it is bye bye...

I have a big "wow" factor on mine :thumb:

Bro, i suggest you wait till your spark plug change. then you take out the files. Two things at one go ah

Maybe you may have to put the bike one day?

the shop we patronised is very skillful in Kawa bike. He is going to move to the new location soon. Once we have it, we can bring you there to intro intro and kopi session

yeah! Now your bike fly like aeroplane! Gezzzzzz damn freaking fast la. Super sports tourer already.

First make sure the bike is well run in, my advice to you: do not remove the flies unless you install a fuel injection commander such as PCV or Bazzaz, with autotune accessories. You would risk of running your engine too lean and it could be seriously damaged in long term. With auto tune commander you will always keep the air/fuel ratio around 13:1, my bike is very happy and purring around AFR 13.2.

Finally, with the flies out, it is far more difficult to handle the bike in city, you lose the smoothness at low rpm, and no margin for error, so make sure you mostly keep your bike for touring out of Singapore. Ride safe.

Some details on the new gtr.

You fell for it!!

This video was shot in 2007, nothing new about it and all Kawa dealers i talked to in Europe or US know that there are no such things coming anytime soon on the GTR, but dreams are never too good to be true...coz prototypes can become street legal someday.

Pardon me.

I don't believe in magazine.

I believe in end users reviews.

If C14 has 136kw on the wheel, that is definitely something ... :p

No If"s", it does!!
