I cant be haggling for a price for an assumed 10 bike purchase, get a decent price then have 5 drop out. Obviously, the guy is not going to give me the same price if the purchase goes ahead.

In between the dates, we probably head up to ipoh or KL. Then come back to cameron highland to sleep.

I'm lost man. at least from pic i noe Zumo 550 is a little fan shaped like a handheld dinosaur era game console. the garmin 550 and nuvi 550 looks pretty much jus like any nuvi 205/255 etc.

 

price wise, it costs ard SGD 569 at east gear for nuvi 550. fully water proofed. pls advice.

Bro, before you consider getting a GPS, you have to consider the space on your bike that it will take. The models you mentioned has different features and in different sizes.

 

On GTR1400, there are ample spaces for me to play around with. I can put it on the right, left and centre of the handle bar. Whichever position i chose, it will not block the dash board. Sunlight will not disturb the screen too

 

On ZZR14, being a hyper sports tourer performance bike. there aint much space for you to play around with. If you get garmin zumos 500/550/600, it will block your dashboard. Unless you do not mind, that could be an issue. If you put it a postion, the sunlight may glare from the screen. ended up you cant see the navigation clearly.

 

I have only tried garmin zumos 500. Its totally worth my money. It had served me very well from singapore to cameron highlands. Be it rain, shine or thunderstorm

GTR1400 community is shrinking in size and makes us very unique on the road. Your 2010 model will definitely turn heads on every junction and stops

 

Do join us on both long and short bike trips. Definitely funner to have more riding buddies.
