yo I'm riding FT plate rxz, FC abt 36km per lite,

as for 2T, mostly is 5 full tank of petrol uses 1 lite of 2t...my rxz also no reserve, there was once i my mileage reach 380km then went pump petrol, open up fuel cap shake the bike & hear no sound of petrol...scary, if not got to push bike...

All RXZs have till gear 6? I think FQ plate range RXZs have lousier FC. I remember seeing someone posted in the forums that many owners are trying to sell off their FQs maybe because of FC and such problems.

 

True enough, 3/5 of RXZs being sold in the Used bikes section are FQs. However pls remember these are just baseless conclusions by me. I'm just posting my thoughts...

Which tyre is the best value for money?? I'm gonna get a 2nd hand Z soon and I value life.. which tyres are the best to get for a student on a budget? I understand life more impt than $!!

Usually u wont find any tools when buying a 2nd hand bike. U shld chk da handling of da bike, d alignment, wiring and most important is d engine.

There are lots of tyres in da market, most of them are good, so it depends on ur style of riding da bike.

im looking for rxz,actually found a few that im interested in but bro's here care to tell me how much the total cost would be? like road tax and stuffs etc......

 

ok here's the thing, planning for buy from a guy in the forum FQ plate rxz selling at 850 planning to nego if can get 600 ah coz i not enuf money still student.but also working part time.

 

right now got about 1.2k,so dunno if enuf to get that bike haiz....

 

so if 600 goes to bike price then insurance for 19 years old how much ah?

 

coz the other 600 for insurance and bla bla bla......

 

transfer fee how much? then is it if i own the bike i must buy 1st party or wat they called it comprehensive insurance?

 

would it be enuf or shud i really wait till end of the year when i save more to get coz this cheap rxz quite hard to find:cheeky:

 

well i pass my bike license recently and this is my chance to own my own ride at last after saving.

 

and bro's here can tell me if rxz is a good bike?coz i still new.

Thank you to all who can help me out in a few things....

Just only got my 2nd hand Rxz last Friday from bike productions. I would like to change a few things on my bikes.

1. Gear shift lever. and brake lever.

reason i would like to change is because when I'm changing gears, the side stand is obstructing my foot. It is not comfortable also.

 

2. Fairings

Mine is the older one so i want to change to new fairings. And roughly how much it will cost.

 

3. How to remove my big ugly box behind. I got a 2nd hand box but i want to remove it. I saw the screws for the rack but i simply cannot unscrew it.

I want to remove the box as well as the rack also..

It will be good if you could recommend me shops and the prices. Thanks...

new qns... went to ah boy today.. they person there quote me around $160 + to change my rxz to new fairings... Would like to know how many liters is my fuel tank? how many liters is the newer models fuel tank? mine is the FT plater with ycls fairings... thanks....

I tink da price shld be ard there, as for da fuel tank it varries from 13 to 14L

Many thanks to cool bikers... Now i need to change my bikes battery already.. very weak... How much will it cost to change new battery and rewire electrical wires under my seat... Cause i see the wiring done to my bikes is like shi* Some cable coming out here and there... The tape all coming out... Any bike shops to recommend? HKL LAB? looking for ppl with experiences in the shops... workmanship, after sales how? thanks...

Just browsing around for RXZ forum n found so many, look like got alot of small individual groups of RXZ riders, the "Yamaha RXZ lovers" seem to have the most view at 90000 plus compared to the rest, imo it should stay.
