Hi X8ers,

 

I am trying to let go some X8 stock/original parts as I have no need for them after adding in some aftermarket parts. The parts mostly new (after about 19KM already take out, only brake disc is mileage at 1630)

 

1) X8 198 cc block

Condition: GOOD AS NEW (Mileage est at 19km)

Price (installation not included, please approach a scooter shop): $200

 

2) X8 Clutch and clutch block

Condition: GOOD AS NEW (Mileage est at 19km)

Price (installation not included, please approach a scooter shop): $100 for both

 

3) X8 Brake Disc

Condition: GOOD (Mileage est at 1630 km)

Price (installation not included, please approach a scooter shop): $50

 

BTW,

 

I think I might have stock pilot and headlight bulbs + used stock X8 brake pad (front only).. please contact me if you want them.. FOC...

can anyone tell me how much on average does x8 full tank run?

 

i got to know from 2 friend... one says 250km one says 300km...and mine, less than 200km...

Well, normal average of 250 to 270km full tank depending on your riding style. Try not to wack too much on throttle and you will get better mileague. But if you still face this problem, you can contact Future Scootering Kenny for help. Or if yours still under warranty, go back to Piaggio and let them check it up.

Not as thirsty as the helix that needs to be top up at 160km for the past 8 years.

i bought my bike from shop... then they say will push the bike to piaggio for me.

so since they pushing my bike i suppose i can ask them to do more stuff on my engine etc right?

 

i went FS on sat...the mech says my engine got BEARING problem.. but im damn new n dunno wats that... previously a shop told me my TENSIONER got problem...

and eventually my engine got the 'hitting metal sound'.

 

possible to ask the shop to let piaggio check the following?

1) clutch

2) bearing

3) brake disc (got creeking sound...)

4) tensioner

5) engine

After yr bike shop push yr scoot to Piaggio Service Center, is better for you to go down personally to seek advise from Mr Yap, tell him yr scoot problem, i believe is better this way.

Hey Alnz, is your X8 still under warranty ie below 10000KM or not yet 1 year. If its is then you can rest assured PSC will take care of it for you. Juz like Mark said earlier its best if you meet up Mr Yap personally so you can pour out to him your prob. So they can do a thorough check on your scoot.

 

If its not under Piaggio warranty then I suggest you ask your bike shop to look into the problem. I'm sure they got give you at least 1 month warranty.

if i go tmr earli morning say 9am, will they do it for me on the day? do i need to make appointment wif mr yap? i need to use it urgently...

 

how to contact mr yap? anyone got his contact? wat time psc operates?

Sorry for the late reply, PSC fon no is 65474466. Usually have to make appointment but you can try your luck tho

Wanna fix an additional tailight

Change to white pilot lights

fix left signal light problem

maybe the diamond vision headlights also.

and what bike cover is small, light and will not get burnt by the exhaust

hey bro...go FutureScootering for the pilot lights....left signal problem go PSC...they go very fast.. monday i jus went oni...they make my left signal working =)

where you want to fix it? the red patch on the box or mount on top?

can use Led white for it also.... me using.... $15 per pair.

Basically all cover will be burnt by exhaust that is too hot.... small holes..... anyway i using motocube.... not bad and can fold into bag.... but NO stocks for XL yet..... MArk C also waiting(i think flower also winthering soon liao.... been 2 mths plus liao...)

 

Anyway think all the qns you asked can be done at any bikeshop but how abt the pricing? you should know where is cheap,good and trustworthy....... hmm...... think it over...... ring me if need help.....
