i guess so.. now wit my stock carb my top (measured by cbr150) is 125 only.. vibrate like hell lor.. i wanna do up my bike performance but dono wat to do n no money.. haha!

anybody interested to take over my rear brake disc setup including racing footrest & sports rims (w/o tyres)?

 

looking at $270

intend to free up some cash to do other mods

 

breakdown of original price i paid is as follows:

rear disc setup = $200

sports rims = $100

racing footrest = $100

 

reason for selling together with the footrest and rims is because these 2 items are customised for the rear disc

i.e. footrest w/ bracket for mounting brake pump and rims with wheel hub suitable for rear brake disc

guys this coming year alot of x1 will go through inspection as x1 first plate is FY if i nt wrong,mine will be ard 07nov...so to those who gone through inspection this year,pls share ur xperiance n wat u do to help others..

hey guys, im a new x1 rider. recently juz skidded on the expressway, and my paintwork got scratched. how much is it to respray it and is it possible to tilt the exhaust pipe abit higher ?(illegal?)

the prices i paid are converted from ringgit

 

anyway my asking price is negotiable

the rear disc setup includes:

 

- brake disc

- brake pump

- brake caliper + securing bracket

- steel braided brake hose

- brake pads inclusive

 

- yoshi footrest (suitable for NSP 150SP)

- bracket to extend the rear pillion footrest towards the rear

- rear exhaust mounting bracket

- Racing boy 6-spokes sports rim (suitable for Y125z)

 

will try to get some pics up soon

need to go check w/ mechanic whether the setup can fit other models of cubs also~

visual check for illegal items

e.g. no rear mudguard, number plate not secured

 

visual check for lighting/electricals

e.g. signal lights, taillight, brakelight, headlight color, horn

 

visual check for smoke

(more for 2 stroke bikes)

 

using of machine to check

- vehicle braking

- chasis/frame stability

 

pretty straightforward if your bike is in original condition

i got sumthing to share wif you all... it all happen like tis.. yesterday night as i was goin to eat my late supper at kembangan i beat the traffic light which was red... i wanted to stop but cant... and i look back to see whether i tio anot.. but you know wat.. the camera din have flash.. and today i went back again wif my frens to try again but tis time is w/o plate num.. same thing happen again no flashes.... i wondering izzit X1 too light for the sensor to sense it? or the camera is using nightvision or even the camera is "FAKE".... but i still have to wait 3-5months time to noe whether i tio the beat red light... and here gones my 12 point. btw anyone beat red light before?

depends on the shop u go to

sometimes they do have spare fairings for u to use while they spraying yr original ones

but that's rare

sometimes the red light cameras are positioned to capture vehicles that beat red light coming from a certain direction e.g. from major road to major road

 

then u were to come frm minor road to major road at the same junction maybe wont kena lor

 

the flash is definitely bright at night. havent personally tried it but have seen it flashed other cars before. so if at night and no flash = quite safe for u

 

im not sure whether dummy cameras still exist or not though...

if im not wrong, normally they will haf 2 flashes.. n dont like tht post.. later uninvited guest come in see this post n hunt u down ah.. ahha!

i have already thou abt tats... if im goin to tio let it be.. but the "uninvited guest" wanna give me can i wan to see the prove..to make my mouth shut.. anyway wat i mention at the top cant be use as a prove against me so im safe

high mount exhaust are not illegal.. as long ur pipe are street legal.. shudnt be a problem..

btw the flashes are like those of the normal cameras...

 

cos i've seen one went berserk before.. kept flashing though no cars passed... the flash show lasted 15 secs.. no car dare to cross even though its green... its a funny sight... at upper thomson.. heh...

its a usual sight for the one in clementi to go berserk. the one just below the MRT track, always flashing for no good reasons. well, i did wave at the cam when i pass. ahaha...
