whoa jurong island..think u must need to wake up at like 5am every morning to get to work rite haha really sucks when you don't have your parents' blessings..doubt mine will ever give me theirs..oh well, maybe i'll get a bike when i move out in future..in fact i am having naughty thoughts at the moment and am thinking of buying another vespa again cos it's been on my mind all the time..just that the idea of possibly getting caught in the same situation (parents finding out and endless quarrels over the bike) again is really not what i want to find myself embroiled in again

naaaa ... not really ... my work starts at 8 ... leave home by 7 shud be ok to reach work by 7:30 ....

just give them time, their intensions is good ... its all bout safety on the road .. at their age they've heard/seen too many accidents involving bikes ... its their love for u that makes them do these ... just give them time ... and u can try buy a scoot, then tell them its only for weekend ride ... when the trust is there, then u try going out on wkdays lah

i'm ryan and a proud owner of a Px150.. bought it at jin cheng motors in july(1.6k,kinda ex now i think back).. still saving up for the mods.. need lotsa help frm u peeps.. am really into vintage stuffs, accessories etc. haha whens the next local ride/event? i'm so interested.. took me an hr to read all 16 pages of this thread.. LOL but definitely worth the time..

anyways, where do u peeps do ur mods and where's the most affordable to do at? i only know ah joo @ jinchengmotors.. and where to get those retro accessories(helmets,chrome stuffs etc.)? heard of LAB- wheres it?

hey nayr1988..welcome to the family of vespa riders for vintage vespa accessories, also check out tong aik at golden wall centre (next to sim lim square). LAB is at kelantan lane, just off jalan besar. don't think LAB has vintage vespa accessories though. tong aik on the other hand will be the perfect place for you

TONG AIK MOTORS @ Golden Wall Centre

JIN CHENG MOTORS aka Ah Joo's Wrkshp @ Ubi (he has a truckload of stocks, just ask him for what you are looking for)

BAN HOE @ Jalan Besar (main road next to the McDonald's, you will definitely see a silver AL plate Sprint V parked there everytime)

RODA DUA TRADING @ Horne Road (opp Jalan Besar Stadium, opens only from 5pm till late everyday except Sundays & Mondays, e only wrkshp that opens at night)

... and one more shop at Waterloo Street (inside CBD area, a Ban Hoe type of shop located under the block located opposite the old church NAFA campus @ Middle Road)...
