dun worry lah, if they think u reckless or what most prob they will chase after u. Next time relax ride lah..when u enter expressway dun go so fast, make sure traffic is clear before entering. And off course pls check the blind spot, save me couple of time. Get caught by tp or what not a concern, think u shd be concern bout ur own safety more.. ride safe :)

i think can cos u need tat stretch to pick up speed to merge into the highway. don be like some cars who slow down then merge. damn frustrating.

Slip roads entering expressway are for you to pick up speed so that you'll reach the speed limit e.g. 90km/h as soon as you hit the expressway.

For slip roads exiting expressway, you have gotta slow down to the speed limit as shown on the road side.

thank you everybody for answering my question.Happy riding.

Cheers!

Technically, slip roads are 50-60km/hr speed limit

i know expressways entering slip roads are 50 coz hv to slow down. But slip roads entering expressways i confused le.Hope wat u all said is true.Hv to increase speed to merge highway therefore no restriction of speed below the limit of expressway..

So low chance of getting caught?N i juz found out tat part of the expressway is 80 n not 90.:sian:

The acceleration lane is for you to increase your speed so that you enter the expressway at the appropriate speed. It should have been covered in driving theory.

Beware that some of these entrances to the expressway lead to a merging lane or a give-way lane.

dont rule out the possibility of TP camping at the chevron between the slip road joining the expressway & the expressway itself...seen it many times before...

When entering an expressway the slip road is for accelerating and matching expressway speeds to be able to join traffic safely..note that most slip roads like this have give way lines to traffic on the expressway..
