Hi Chivas,

Don't fret. I believe William Tan on what he has said about the bike. I did look at the bike closely and I believe that the bike did not suffer badly especially the main frame. At the end of the day, I believe you have got a bike with almost everything replaced which is a good deal. Do enjoy the ride!

God Bless!

Rosli is a mechanic that William Tan and most of the Cruiser guys patronises. He can give you directions when he comes into this thread or you can PM him.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to CB1300. My ride is a 00 version of CB1300 with twin exhaust.

Just like to find out if any you fellow CB13 riders out there can direct me to find the idling adjustment screw or knob on the CB13 carbs.

I have not idea how to locate the idling screws just by looking at the carbs assembly. Could it be hidden inside the throttle position sensor casing?

thanks

He's boss, and he's the mech, so no slip-shot work by co-workers.

And i trust him enough to bring my 2-days-old-after-overhaul-engine to Phuket, when he said can.

Hey bro, here's a rough estimate.... For confirmation, please give Rosli a call.

brake pads -> Good ones (EBC) can cost up to $50+++ a pair.

-> Normal ones cost around $25 per pair.

-> Cheap ones can go as low as $18 per pair.

-> Some brake pads have more stopping power, some has less.

Some "eats" the brake disc, some don't.

Bleeding of brake hoses and replenish brake fluid -> $25

Engine oil -> Semi-syn = $15

-> Fully-syn = $21 (Motul, but not sure still got stock or not)

oil fifter -> $10

spark plug -> $5/pc or $10/pc

cooling - > ????????

air filter (KNN) -> Wash and clean only? Or buying new KNN?

Battery -> Not sure....

Washing of carbs and Tuning engine -> $75 (Syncronising of carbs is done first followed by tuning. Tuning is done using a device that measures exhaust fumes.)

If you really decide to go down, please give him a call, as on some times, he is one-man-show.

You can reach him at 67478202.

Let me know if you decide to go down, then i can PM you the directions.

hi all,

i have been riding a cb sevenfifty for almost 2 yrs, hardly c any same same bros on the road...

after a quick run-thou of the previous posts, i do agree with cb 750 owners out there that it 's a good ride, especially the part abt mounting a windscreen and side boxes and it will be a Budget tourer anytime.

it have lesser power as compared to cb900, cb1000, cb1300. but i alway console myself for that it pays lesser rd-tax too .
