Indeed this thread is such a dead thread. But through here also that me and another CB13 rider met and since then we had frequent coffee session. It would be wonderful if you guys could join us for coffee.

Hi Guys,

 

The turn out for last night coffee session meet up was not bad. As it was not particularly meant for only CB riders gathering, we had actually the naked bikes (not bikers) lovers. It was a mixture of the CB13, XJR13 and X4 which attended. It was more interesting when a Busa and a Monster joined in the session. Hope it will be a regular session and maybe we may have a ride up somewhere some day.

Sorry for the late reply as I am not often online. Anyway, I still do check once awhile. As fot the coffee session last Thursday, yes it was great. I think you are right in getting on the road more than just sitting with coffee for 3 hours. Hehehehe!! I find the meeting the other night was interesting as we are the owners of the rare bikes. May it be CB13, X4 or the XJR13. It is an interesting bunch. I am thinking of do a NS highway tour or top up/coffee in JB.

 

Wonderful to hear that the Monster managed to solve his idling problem. But what was the problem, by the way?

 

I am not too sure of the other riders, but I usually keep in touch with the other CB13 rider as I already knew him for quite sometime. Thanks to him too for organising the coffee session that Thurs night.

 

Let's see what else we can planm next and we shall contact each other.

Hey Bro,

 

You thinking of heading north? How you like to do a touch and go kind of thing. We need not stay overnight. We just ride to somewhere (e.g Melaka, Mersing or Rompin) in morning and return back by late afternoon or night. Like I mentioned before, I might be doing it one of the days to test the mileage of how far my full tank can go as I just did a setting to my carb. Just buzz me if you think it as good idea and like to plan it. By the way, (I am sure you know) road to Mersing is wonderful for cornering.

yo saw one CBX1000 at teban garden before, it was my first time to seeing a inline 6 motorbike...then search for the age of the bike, wow 1978 le,30yrs old still running... UP for honda...
