the engine on Fazer is detuned...

 

detuned '98 R1 engine on current models but expect a detuned '04 R1 engine when the new model comes... :lovestruck:

 

in terms of aerodynamics & handling for fast speed, the sports version is definitely betta. :smile:

R1 is a sports bike.... FZ is a tourer... How to compair? Althouht its the same engine... I think R1 should be faster...

actually the Fazer is not a tourer too... n YZF-R1 is definitely faster den FZS1000.

 

reviews haf termed it as a very gd 'motorcycle', 'roadster'... its basically an all-rounder. dats y two wise guys in tis thread haf chosen the FZS1000. :D

 

:btw: the money for the Scotty MO has been passed to Motoworld? can i go down n install tomolo :confused:
