Sorry the last DIY i need to rush off as i have an appointment and can't join you guys for MAC.Actually brought some plastic gloves for those spraying headers but left them in my bag and forgotten to take out.

 

Oh Quikesilver, thank you for last wed night in helping me to flush the "coffee and tea" out to replace with "rose syrup".Now you know what i mean when i say "coffee and tea"!

Don't worry.Kennethy's providing your chicken rice, coke will be on me to quench your thirst.Lol.

eh... haven contact the distributor yet. prob will call him on monday. thses few days abit busy, totally forgot. yup, the s4 outing is next sat nite, but seems like response not as good as the last one.

no lah, wun angry one lah. cuz i was intending to do up my bike before the outing, den can "reveal" my bike to everyone! haha... but think no choice alredy. anyway got budget constraint also.

 

last nite went m'sia pump petrol ard 3am, go in jam like siao, come back also jam. den i did something bloody stupid, but dun really wanna talk about it saw alot of s4 also, but dunno if they're forumners.

 

ANYWAY, is 4T=EO? cuz one of my fren riding s4 uses 4T from petronas. and it's like RM$8.50 PER BOTTLE!!!! means 3 bottle = SG$12!!! if really is EO, den really can save alot sia! here SO EX!!! and plus petronas seems to hav a pretty good rating amongst bikers. pls tell meeee.... den next time i go in buy liao, since almost time to change the law mee soup!

my diy offer some good deals too.

 

can you ask the distributor to come in soon else u all have to go ahead without me le cos going to busy very very soon.

why dun recommend petronas 4T? i asked around people tell me petronas quite good leh.

i think it's not lasting, cuz i did ask the distributor prev about gloss vht paints, he say the components of the spray make it impossible to be gloss if need to withstand such high temp. unless someone can find out the actual surface temp of the headers. who knows, if it turns out to not be dat high, maybe enamel paint will work. well, it did work on the cooling fins on the side of the engine block for me. dats wat i used to highlight, instead of paint marker or stickers.

 

oh, and i actually found this website which had some pics of some people powder coating their manifolds (ie the exhaust system minus endcan) with high temp powder. looks pretty cool. i'll try to find it n post it up someday.

ehh.... dunno leh, got budget constraint, so dun think will go FS, ar boh FS eat, mac drink, den after that go johor treat my bike drink, wah... burn hole in wallet sia. plus i need to renew my passport this week! :sian:

 

btw, does anyone know how to tighten chain? think my chain needs tightening... my fren say can only tighten one last time! kaoz... now have to start cutting expense for new chain also...

The other time when i did mine headers respray... Me and my friend shared 3 cans between both of us.... it wasn't enough for us to get the layers done... after doing up... the layer was rather thin ...

 

I'm left with around 2.75 left of black spray... so... quizesilver, you want i can pass you my 0.75 left spray can (black) but enough for you notz? unless someone with more than 2 cans willing to give also? Anyone...?

 

Wah... really feel like getting the micron headers if the price is neg... but heard it's gonna be 900+ ? damn ~.... installment plan got ?heex
