read somewhere that iridium sparkplug last longer than normal ones. normal ones are usually replaced after 10k, iridium last til 20k? true??

brake fluid u can get those better one eg motul on use mobil avaliable at $7.50 per bottle. if three line u need abt 1L meaning 2 bottle.

 

K&N oil filter same as it air filter would give better flow.

meaning better oil flow.

how much better i am nt sure

oil filter can be easily change. it will cost u a can of drink.

K&N air filter can be wash with the recharger kit. avaliable at abt $15-18. washing it is easy.

 

spark plug i am using those plantium type. okie for me. further more i am poor man. img 5*4=20 if 16*4=64 i can also most change everytime.

-Sand paper-rating 300 and 120 (preferably cloth type as will come in touch with water. Cloth type will not tear)

-Water

-High temp Spray

-Newspaper (like posted, you'll need quite alot. For spraying purposes)

-trash bag (throw your rubbish)

-Mp3 player/board games/card games/radio etc for entertainment while waiting.

5. Flush coolant

6. Header - make over

do i need to bring the high temp spray and sandpaper?

coz i dont have it.

it is diy u noe... so all have to provide juz that i will be there to help.

whisperer have some red u may wan to do a extreme red header confirm catch all ppl attraction on the outing

wah andrew, ur maths abit wrong leh, do so much $50 only meh??

 

see ah:

 

EO = $54 (assuming 3 bottles of $18 ea)

oil filter = $15

spark plug = $15 (normal ones x3)

air filter washing = FOC

coolant= $20 (water wetter)

header makeover = $7, excluding cost of sand paper (or $13 if u buy from outside)

brake pad (dunno wha are the popular brands or cost)

bleeding brake host = $5 (for brake fluid)

 

total : $116, and dats not inclusive of the cost of brake pads eh...

 

imagine diy so much money liao, if all go bike shop do... :giddy:

jus wondering, how hot does the engine get? cuz EO are rated at 40 degrees C n 100 degree C. i read that both are the internal temperatures of the engines, the latter being the temp for tropical countries like ours. if so, dat means the engine isn't that hot after all, well, hot enough to cook ur fingers, but can normal paints take the heat? hmm... i think i'll do an experiment on it...
