Every 4 to 5k km, change fully synthetic engine oil. Every 10k km, change OEM oil filter.if you are using normal spark plug, change every 10 to 15k km. Iridium spark plug can last 20 to 30k km.Use motorcycle specific engine oil only. Major service is valve clearence, timing chain, cam-chain tensioner every 80k km. Every 15 to 20k km or yearly , flush and change coolant. Yearly , do a throttle bodies sync so that bike will run smoothly. This is what i do to my suzuki bike. Check other wear and tear if you are buying a secondhand bike. Rde safe.

Search for your bike maintenance manual to know your eo change frequency - not all the same. Usually bikes that uses less eo changes more frequent. Other circumstances like long period of unuse also renders an earlier change.

If you want to go diy then you will also need your bike parts manual (probably in japanese). My Honda can get this, super useful if I want to order parts directly from Japan since I got the official part number.

For normal air filter , blow clean at 10k km and replace it at 18k km according to my Suzuki Owner manual. For me , I am using K&N air filter and wash it at every 10k km. For engine oil , change at every 6k km according to my Suzuki owner manual. Engine oil is cheap , engine repair is expensive. Up to individual owner.

For some 2B bikes... 1000km already need to service oil... because it burns up too much oil (1 liter) isn't alot of oil...

For most >200cc bikes Engine oil at 4000km is when your bike is under warranty :p Eg Super4 with 3 liters of oil.

After that... its up to your own judgement... we have bros here going up to >10000km... but most of us change at about 4000-6000km range... there's a thread talking about EO servicing.

Need to ask... What is Throttle body sync? All bike shops know how to do? i'm almost due for a major servicing... 1 year already. So fast...
