I think its just 2 two screws holding the rectifier only... quite plug and play...

ya 2 screws holding the rectifer, but also 2 screws holding the tank, 2 screws holding the speedo and 3 screws holding the seat.. so total 9 screws to unscrew.....

quite a tedious job..

i believe the $25 from LAB is cheong one, not OEM..

non-OEM rectifier can fry the battery..

No smell of petrol or other smell. The liquid is colorless. not thick or thin. just like tap water.

 

might be rain water or something??? or your chain Lub?

 

Most likely rain water then, or water from bike wash. I can't think of any other liquid that can leak out from inside a Phantom which matches what you described...

finally got a black phantom at $500 with COE till October this year.

sent to Planet for Uncle Chong to inspect and he says no major repair except for some lighting issues.

 

Changed a few stuff and was happy with what I have. Only to find out that my headlight was not working.

 

Went to a shop at Yishun Indust and he changed the socket and bulb to super white. After a few hours later I had to return to that shop as my headlight went out again. Another mech checked it and said that it was loose and got it fixed.

 

A few hours later same problem man! No headlight! Going there again after work as they closes at 9pm.

 

Is it the electrical system faulty?

It is best to fit back the stock bulb to ensure.

1. if the super white is drawing exceeding amperes..

2. or the incorrect fuse been used...unrated...

3. or the charging system or regulation @ fault...

Btw, anyone using Magic jet in ur phantom? What is it & how does it work? Just discovered its in my filter when Chong changed mine.. I have no idea what it was so took it out... googled it & here's the best info i could find..
