Sorry to dig up old thread.

I'm thinking of changing to Malossi open pod for the noise. Has anyone changed before at Sunrise? Did they tune your carb? If yes, do they tune stock carb? Because I don't want to change carb. Lastly, how much is the total cost for changing and tuning? Mine is VXR '05 by the way.

If I decide to diy to convert to open pod, do I need to buy anything else other than the filter itself? Because I noticed that there is this small tube connected from the stock airbox to the engine. If I remove the airbox and this tube, that means it will leave a hole on the engine. So, do I leave it like this or is there "something" else that is needed to replace the function of this tube upon converting to open pod?

Thanks.
