Bidding exercise starts today,

All non motorcycle cat COE have massive increase in quota this month onwards.

 

Except for motorcycle CAT D with just a +15% increase in quota, from monthly 260-270 x2 to this bidding high, there are a total of about 334 x2 CAT D COE.

In contrast there are 1.4k CAT A car COE and about 1.3k CAT B car coe, now. massively increased from last bidding exercise as car coe have always been the most profitable to print.

 

As of 04 May 6.07pm, 0 bids received for cat D coe. The quota is nowhere near the demand of about 900-1000 monthly, at just abought 650-660 per month. I expect the COE to hit pass slightly 7k.

Then it will stablise back to mid range to high range 6k. from then will grow at a somewhat slower pace finally, but it will definitely reach 10k someday.

That is provided that they cease manipulating the COE quota finally, to maximise profit.

thats day somebody in garment said, you cannot separate civil servant from garment. even if you oust them out, we still have the civil servant to serve whoever is left behind.

10k COE.. less than $100/mth for COE... cant wait for financial institutions to offer motorbike loans..

btw, anyone knows why no banks offer bike loans now?

And car loans not? Maybe no market that's why.

 

car or bike loans riskier? simple fact. all loans (mortgage, credit card, renovation) are a risk no? if not why will they charge interest.

True also. But for vehicles loans, applicant must earn at least 30k per yr

with 10k coe, plus machine price of 20 to 30k.. quite ok biz for them rite? like the price of car we used to pay.. err thousand years ago

Actually there is no bike loans because the collateral of car and bike is different. Car has a higher collateral compared to a bike. Other then the paper COE value for the bike, there are very low PAF value for bikes. Or you can say bike has negligible value in itself other then the COE

There is zero PARF for bikes!! Those buyers paying sky high for a secondhand bike from forum thinking they got a cheaper deal from dealer are really goons. That is why i checked, most bikes are stuck selling here because they tot they are selling cars and they follow market COE.

 

Goon seller gets goon buyers. But there are still goons around.
