they tell me is coz of my shorter rear shock..

anyway i went ah boy on sunday to change a cheapo chain..

till now it seems nothing wrong..

need to clock more mileage den know.

 

anyway i need to stay in at pasir laba camp liao..

knn ccb the coy csm dun even let me stay out for the last night b4 i stay in

 

fking cb, somemore today bday cant even enjoy

Some of my V friends have the same problem abt the O ring breaking off from their chain too.

They have since replaced their frt and rear sprockets plus the chain.

 

I am still on my org chain with no problem and already clock 10,000km liao without any chain adjustment too.

I manually oil every O ring on every link of the chain with SAE90 gearbox oil every 1000km travelled and more frequent if it rains.

i 90% confirm liao the problem, its my rear shock..

as told by the kawa shop in KL, is u lower ur bike the slack of ur chain need to be extra more den normal..

i have change back my stock shock and i am on a cheap chain bought from ah boy, 2 days liao np..

btw i am staying in now so cant ride.. weekend i going for a trip lets see how is it...

hi bro, sorry the riser is design for versys clamp.. so i am afraid it will not fit...

u can try rox riser, they have for diff handle bar size.. :)

and 1 more thing to share guys...

 

when i went up genting that sat i went to meet some of the versys riders in MY that were selling some stuff for versys

 

i bought a front axle slider for 98RM

gold bobbin for 68RM

and a paddock side jack, which work very similar to the 1 selling in garage sale the easy stand

which cost 130RM

 

i am in camp now so unable to post the pics of the items on my bike...

a guy from MY is coming SG this sunday..

he has quite a few versys item in stock, willing to hand carry to sg to sell to us w/o extra cost..

rear hugger 180rm

front slider 90rm or less he said..

 

this guy is a diff person i bought my slider from, thus e price is diff, and its lower.

most likely i am asking him to bring in a hugger for me..

if anybody interested in anything pls indicate here so i can update him

 

the radi grid is selling @ 80rm for normal design RM80( aluminum material c/w black)

Ben~ actually with your lower rear shock, a longer chain will solve it. As for abs cos lower top end unless the few kg matters.

 

Btw you hv mount back the stock shock?

ya.. i nvr find out that extra more slack will solve the problem till i went to welly GT world @ batu cave

now i know i jus need extra more slack if i wan use my back shorter shock

 

i had changed back my ori shock for the time being..

also try see can sell away the bitubo anot... abit used to the bike liao

unless reali cant sell den i use back the bitubo shock...

 

o.O ABS got a few kgs ar? LOL
