What rack are you using for the panniers? Looks like it doesn't attach to the passenger grab handles.

I am using SW-Motech rack and pannier. I love the top loading pannier, very convenient when I need to access my luggage.

Thanks Andrew for the ABS answer, saw the sticker :)

If it's not too much trouble can you map your route on google map and post the pic or give more details, I'm curious about the bad road you took.

Well this is the route we took.

The Vx has a tough engine, tested it myself. Small machine but produces lots of power. YOu wouldn't regret it.

u went up via tapah? no wonder.

Personally i would avoid that road. not a fun road to play anyway.

For any one of you who wants to make a next trip to cameron, i would suggest NSH all the way to Simpang Pulai and head to Cameron from there. one night's stay, the next morning, head down via Sungai Koyan to Raub - Bentong and then Genting Highlands for another night, then back down south the next day.

In fact, if you are willing, it can all be done within 24 hours - endurance ride, but why make yourself suffer?

The Versys 1000 looks to be a solid bike...any news on that?

Can google online to see the review. I find it nothing fantastic, wheelbase too long for terrain ride. But if you going for power maybe can consider.

I always find inline 4 engine as a road going bike. In fact the sound it produce doesnt link to ADV bike.

Just like u would expect a cruiser to sound more like a twin cylinder bike.

Just my own opinion.

Go to the top left menu, click on "Private messages"

Then in the new page that displays, on the left side bar you have another menu, pick "Edit avatar" :)

I don;t know why when we click on our own nickname we get to some weird profile page and can;t access our settings from there, but in the end, I decided to go through the PM link, always brings you to all your settings.

The brake lever extension cost between 60 -70SGD

The design of this side stand coast is not very good. After installing, I have to do some mod to cushion the retrieval of the side stand.

Can I know where you got it from? Thinking of getting one along with the anti-vib riser.

The bike side stand coaster I got it from palmerproducts./

There is another option which you can consider is Motowerk.

Motowerk have both the anti-vib mount and side stand coaster. The review from our Vx user were pretty good.
