i using GT85(can get from mustafa) spray in on to the chain.. then using paper towel to clean off the dirt and grease....

some uses kerosen or deisel... but dunno how is it..

i dunno about your ride.. but for my ride(phantom) i adjust the sensitive that is at the footbreak padal... there is so call a knot for you to turn and adjust how sensitive you wanna your brake light to turn on when you foot brake is press.... as for the handbrake... that part got nothing to do with it.. unless something stuck between your handbraking and the brake switch..

from my experience, it may be ur handbrake. when u squeeze, it will press on a pad which in turn turns on the light. maybe that one is worn or something.if u r riding cub, check also ur pedal pole that attaches itself to the pump.

is not the hand brake. When i kick up the brake pedal upwards. The brake lights disappear. Don know how to adjust also... When i went for servicing the last time. I told the mech about it and later he spray something around the brake pedal and said is done. But still problem still occurs.

like that is not the adjusted knot... seem that your footbrake paddle is stuck... as you mention "When i kick up the brake pedal upwards. The brake lights disappear"

maybe you can spray some WD40 or something that can make it smooth for the joint so that it will not have any fiction to obstruct it..

For the chain cleaning part, you can use disel or kerosene. its cheap and can easily get rid of tough grease stains.

U might want a old toothbrush to scrub the chain a little.

and a small car jack will make things alot easier.

Pour a little solvent on the chain, specifically the part where the chain U-turns. This is the part the chain spreads (wrong word?) and can clean the chain more thoroughly. Use the tooth brush and scrub.

Do until u are satisfied then remember to lubricate!!

ohh. i got that before. its time u service the brake pump. i serviced mine when i had the exact same problem and its working well till now. it doesnt cost much but i forgot how much. they will change the internals of your pump like the seal and maybe the spring if it is bad. don wait too long or u may not be able to brake (or unbrake) at all.

Dude, petrol can oxidise the rubber O Ring on between the plates! the rudder will become brittle and crack. Do not use petrol too strong liao! Also heard from other riders pass experience that WD40 also "eat" rubber :cheeky: but I got no problem with it... UP to you...

Use Kerosene, Diesel... the cheaper option (easier on the pocket) couple with a paint or tooth brush. dip brush in it, then work your way around EVERYWHERE! You can clean up the rims, swing arm, sprockets, etc... Do not use house hold chemical unless they indicate Rubber, plastic, plaint, metal friendly... Else you will need to spend more money to get the damaged parts replaced/repainted!

GT85 for me. Spray and wipe with paper towels, prepare lots of paper towels if u want em real clean. No problems with my current x ring chain. No rubber breaking/crack unlike when i use wd40 which breaks the rubber rings from my previous chain.

If you are using WD40, do not spray it directly to the chain to clean the grease away. What I do is, I spray it onto a piece of clean cloth and use that cloth to clean the chain. Then I use a clean portion of the cloth to wipe everything clean. After that, I spray on my PJ1 chain lube to lubricate my bike chain... :)

First learn stand, then learn fly. Nature's rules biker-sans. Not mine...
