I would like to give an honest review of the gazi -hacker series suspension.

Outlook: Good ( of course la its new so it better look gd:angel: )

Adjustability: damping, compression and height.

Reliability: not good in the long run( info i gathered from some frens using it) IE preferable to change once a yr. What you pay is what u get ma.

Performance: Not too bad. however the stiffness is not there BECAUSE the springs are not of the same strength as showa, bitubo or even yss. I weigh 70kg, for single riding, so far no complains, its better than a 6 yr old showa and pillion wise is quite stable. The feel is one thing and im quite satisfied with the money i spent on it, BUT my mech showed me something which kinda scared me. he took a look at the gazi, laughed at it for a while, then used one hand and pulled it towards him, and it was obvious that it bends under a bit of pressure.

Solution, if you want a stable ride using gazi, do not adjust the seat height to maximum, even though the tail looks great with the raised height. keep the seat height to a minimum and use the max settings for compression and damping. raising the seat height also screws up my cornering cos u'll be messing with the CG of the bike(this one cannot play play man) I also felt as if I was riding a scrambler LOL.

Just wondering also, can bitubo or yss adjust seat height?

but it will affect ur cornering and wears out ur chain n sprocket faster also.

hye guys just let you noe i surveyed for gazi suspensions and found 2 different types...

1. has an adjustable compression and tension

2. the normal w/o adjustable

there is a difference in price though the expensive one ($350 that is no. 1) i saw at B Plus... when the suspension compress, there is a screw that can delay the tension effect to prvent ur bike from losing ground or so called 'hop' when accidentally hit a ramp or a hole. this reduces the jump effect. good for the pillion safety.

the normal one (no. 2) does not have this effect. and cost($210) at bukit batok industrial park...

i just find the mechanism cool though not that important for mi bike...

plus i experience that same effect as hellsfury when i adjust the suspension a bit too much... haha riding like a scramble.. i can hardly touch mi feet to the ground!! LOL!!! but seriously it affects mi cornering and also the CG force.. its best to have the tail same height as that front... especially when super 4 is a road bike...

i currently have a project big FN...

bro my mech recommends yss:) cos the springs are same size n length as showa. btw yss is actually more popular worldwide, but in sg it seems that gazi is more popular cos gazi came in first to sg, followed by yss.
