K!!! Onz!!! Then I go do my other bike first.

Sorry, my monitor was down, so did not contact you....anyways, I ground the Wave I myself already, and still fail to locate the rectifier. I saw the rectifier on my fren's Wave S, but it's just not the same on my Wave, so I skipped it.

personal opinion, shorten the OEM cable not the racing one, cos the core of the cable is different and is a better one than the OEM. :) BTW, how u connect the 2 core wire for the plug cable together? Did u twist the core together then tape up or just 2 core having contact together liao then tape up?

Bro!!!

Thanks for the disc...works a tad better than the original one. But after I got the discs, I saw a new rim set in JB and it comes with a bigger brake disc!!! :giddy: Oh well....but your discs cheaper, of course. :thumb:

Anyways, I shorten the "lacing cables" to the exact length and used inline splice to connect the cables, with an additional heat shrink over the joint. Looks real neat!!! :smile:

sorry for wrong info

RXZdelux, u r right

it should be

NGK CPR6EA-9

DENSO U20EPR9

Yes. CR8E is like the standard wave125 CPR6EA-9, but the plug thread size is shorter. Some mech told me it will cause problem such as easily foul plug and something else. But i will try it after i keep a extra plug.

Let's expand the meaning of CPR6EA-9 and the CR8E plugs.

C = Thread (10mm), Hex (16.0mm or 5/8")

P = Projected centre electrode insulator

R = Resistor type

6 = Heat Rating

E = Thread Reach (19.0mm or 3/4")

A = Design Feature (Special Construction/Design) no details given

9 = Spark Gap (0.9mm or 0.36") pre-set

C = Thread (10mm), Hex (16.0mm or 5/8")

R = Resistor type

8 = Heat Range

E = Thread Reach (19.0mm or 3/4")

I think the original one will be better due to the Projected centre electrode insulator which lead to faster burning of the cycle. Just my opinion although the CR8E still can be use.

Sawadee Krup....could you kindly explain the difference between a "hot" plug and a "cold" plug??? Something I could not seems to understand over the yrs.....

Anyways, I'm using the CR8E on my Wave I. Mechanix changed it for me, and I never really know it's a "cold" plug. Cannot really tell the difference as before the Wave went into the workshop, it had the EFI problem and after it came out, it was solved and a new CR8E plug (Mech claimed old plug was fouled, and what's new???).....so cannot figure the difference as the Wave Mai MengGan Liao.....

Go to HEAT RATING Table.

2 is HOTTEST
