wat u are say is that the thieft at first stole ur bike for a ride,

then park exactly at the same place where u park after he got into a accident.

then wait for u to repair then steal it again.

I must say that is really something amazing

Hmm.. After stealing from ur Parking lot, the thief got into som kinda accident dan park back to ur original parking lot? Dan u send for repair and he stole it again? Bro, is it any of ur friend or the previous rider of the bike? If not how can the thief steal ur bike so easily? Kinda weird right? I think IF u really recover ur bike again, u shd upgrad ur insurance to 2nd party fire & theft And install a 2-way alarm better.. best is to change the ignition also..

no, mine is a 1st hand bike, so no previous rider and i dun have friends dat ride. i suspect he has been bio-ing my bike. it could be 2 different thieves, not sure. but since it happens 4 days in between, quite likely is the same idiot. aniway, change ignition also no use. he dig out my ignition and threw it on the floor to steal the bike.

I suggest using a padlock on the disc brake. Let me guess you park bike at MSCP right? If only can install video cameras then can definitely catch the burger.

HI all,

Just to answer our poor friend.

Is your accident during the period of the theft? In simple term, your bike was stolen and was involved in an accident before you found the bike?

The standard policy form Mitsui stated if accident occurs during the period of the theft, it can be claimed under the policy. However, you must ask yourself the extent of the damage. If you do a claim, your coming premium will be higher. Is it worth it? If it is only minor damage, live with it or repair on your own.

Ultimately, call up your insurance company and check with them. Different company have different terms and conditions.

But i heard from my fren a 2B bike no matter how much security you put in, in the end still can be carried away or dismantled easily. I think he really is quite unlucky. Why not you try parking in a slot where people can see it easily?
