Hi Bro, welcome to the club.

 

If your spec is a normal specs, vboost will only activate when you hit 6000 rpm. Some vmaxxers modified the vboost, so if yours is modified one, you have to have someone to look at the setup.

 

Why dont wait for maxbg to activate the gathering so we can see yours. cheers.

 

Oh oh, if you searching for the vboost switch... You can find easily at eBay. And some of vmaxxers here also had installed the vboost switch.

Thanks man , found the wiring and a Zboost wire mapping. Now i can on and off my Vboost .I heard it will help alot in the FC for Vmax

 

btw nice meeting rick and his red Vmax . LOoks and sound damn cool ~!

 

My reserve switch i think is damaged .... there isnt any reserve light when the fuel is low ... and when empty on me today ....

Sorry couldn't join you guys on monday night.... How many Vmaxes turn up?

 

for the fuel light, check if the bulb is ok first.... is your res switch set to On or Off?

only 2 vmax and a X4

 

the fuel light is stuck in the cover which dont know how to open it lol

 

my res was set to off heard must be the fuel pump res system or something spolit must repair it for $60 to $70 ...hmm

When RES sw is set to OFF, the fuel pump will stop working at about 2 to 3 L of remaning fuel. At that popint the Low Fuel light will come out. To continue with youir journey, you must set the RES switch to ON.

 

So was your tank completely dry and the bike cannot start even after switching RES to ON?

yup used a torch to shine in and sees metal .... no petrol ..both the fuel light and res are down. well had a great workout pushing the bike i learn about this beast with the hard way lol but its worth it

 

sending it to servicing as soon as i get some time off lol

hmmm.... what kind of speed are you doing?

 

High frequency shake or low frequency weave?

 

I would check your front tyre pressure and wear first.

Do you know if your fork spring is a stock spring?

If i is a stock one, you may want to check the air pressure of the fork as well.

The qualifier is a stock tyre for the max. Should work well.

 

Make sure your front is F20. Rear is K525.

I always thought that stock stuff is not really good

i am very interested in the Bridgestone too wondering which one is better in terms of gripping and durable hmm

Yes. there are better radial tyres out there if you have modified to sportbikes rims.

 

But for stock rims, your choice will be limited to those cruiser rubbers........
