the pre-2001 model Hayabusas had primarily 2 problems.....

 

1. Cam Shaft Tensioner

2. Aluminium Sub-Frame

 

These problems were retified for the 2001 models onward.

the road tax for the busa is $500pa.......

I knew that the new busa comes with a 280km/h meter and a lot of them changed the meter to the old one with the 340km/h, so does the mileage of the meter followed or changed?

the meter will reset to 0 if you get a new one , the manuel dl to ur pc at the download function

the busa meters can be upped but at a cost...

 

You have to change the physical meter and then the EMS amongst other things... heard it cost over $1,000...... not worth it lah..... cannot even maintain 280 for long..... at most, 10secs before have to close throttle..... so spend that money for what???

 

Alternatively, buy a 99/00 Haya.... no restrictions.........

Changing the odo no neccesary really, just buy one of those backlighting kits and a "yellow box", a device to correct for sprocket change error. much cheaper than a transplant me thinks and probably cheaper but at least got some cool look'n clocks.

 

as for the milage distress, press the trip meter button to clear the milage. Press twice to get the milaged back-amazing.

Hi, all haya owner, I know i ,but can anyone kindly enlighten me where to purchase spare parts for the haya,.....example all honda spare part can purchase at FJT shop, but for suzuki?

Does anyone out there got lobang for a second hand crackcase for haya, my friend riding haya have skidded his bike ,need a new crackcase, and a quite number of spare part, example side mirror, front screen,slider...,

do please let me know if you have some spare part to sell or the suzuki spare part shop.

I have some of those parts you mention as spare.... I have also pm-ed you..... if you want, I have whole set of either stock suspension or Ohlins suspension, pending on your budget......

The yellow box will help to correct the speedo error, most recomended it.

 

GPS readings are the most accurate.............
