Involved in an unknown hit & run accident!!!

Hi all,

 

I am asking on behalf of my friend who drives a car.

Now the situation is that a motorbike rider is accusing my friend of hit and run! My friend has checked the car and there's not a single scratch or dent!

From the statement of the motorbike rider, he was coming from the rear of the car and self skided.

My friend has already given police statement that on the day of the so called "hit & run" accident, the speed limit and traffic rules were stricted followed and there's no way that an accident could have been caused by any negligence.

Need advises from fellow SBF forumers urgently.... :giddy: :pray: :help: :weep: :pity: :sian:

troublesome case... i got kena 1 similar claim b4 oso.. mine was worst.. i was not even at the scene of the accident.. it took me almost 3yrs to get the case closed...

self skid not equate to hit and run. there was no hit, how to run?

Actually, This sentence i dun really understand: "he was coming from the rear of the car and self skided." If e bike self skid, ur friend shd be the one reporting that his car got hit by a self skid motorcycle.. Not the other way round.. Qns now is, Is there any eye-witness? How many days was the accident before ur friend go and report?

hmm.. mayb similar to my case.. tat bugger claimed tat i anyhow cut into his lane which he tried to siam me n ended up skidded.. he tried to claim from my ins...

 

good thing is tat i m not even at the scene and i have alot of witnesses tat i m not at the scene at tat particular time.. mayb he remember the wrong no. plate... mayb he anyhow hentam a no. plate, end up suay suay tio my plate..

 

so its possible to claim u, even if it is a self skidded accident...

From what I know, this kind of case very hard to fight, even tougher to win... loufu, I guess you are one of the few lucky ones to be out of trouble...

huh?? very easy leh... frm the start he got no case against me at all... when i 1st read his police statement, it was like ~!@#$%^... he got no witness.. he did not state the full plate no, bike make n model, color etc... i got my whole lot of company mates to vouch for me.. hehe.. was in camp when the acident happen...

 

only thing is, tis case wasted alot of my time.. waste time go IDAC, TPHQ, lawyer firm, etc.... if only i got $$$.. i would counter sue tat bugger..:giddy:

 

 

so go ask ur fren, wea n wat was he doin at tat point of time.. if got ppl to proof tat he was not driving or not at the scene.. then very easy liao.. gd luck n hope ur fren can solve tis thing fast... i noe how it feels :dot:

 

PS: guess wat... tat stupid bugger riding exp at the time of accident is ONE F**KING mth... riding SP somemore...

Very simple. Just get a witness to declare that ur friend is not at that particular road during the point of the accident...sleeping at home or making out etc.....

 

If the biker claimed from ur friend's insurance, the insurance company might and might not pay him....all up to the claim officer.
