[Ride] Super 4 Track Sessions

I guess May is a month where everybody's busy for exams or something.

 

I have positive weekends for three months and can afford perhaps tracktime either on Saturday on Sunday. I'm not so lucky on weekdays though...company policy :-/

hmmm... this sunday trackday... so it's out, unless all wanted to join the 5 lap race... this Saturday or friday i'm free, but u n Chaoz cannot go, tec also may not be able to go... think wait till u or Chaoz or tec give date and time liaozzzz...

i will only be free till 11th july.. so I am considering a weekday session =)

next week will either be on 03/07(Sat) or 04/07(Sun) currently this 2 dates seems to be quite opened for PG. weekdays i m unable to make it. After 11/07, will not be free as need to go for ICT...

=.=''' next time bah... currently my tyres can only last abt 2 to 3 more session b4 it is unsuitable for track n become more of a road tyres... so this may be my last few session on this tyres (unless i strike 4-D or toto or boss suddenly become happy and give me my early bonus so that i can change tyres)... so must see all of ur preferences already...

 

anyway... to s4 riders who wish to try tracking (or alrdy tried tracking), this thread is specially reserved for you guys... so please feel free to join in and give any suggestions and preferred timing and date so that i can maybe cater 1 for u guys (together with my frens too)? coz the more the merrier and we can take photo on the podium! xD

I am interested in going to track on my s4. What should I look out for before the trackday? The things I know are tyres, brakepad (for my bike ) , eo should be ok since using ahpek's eo changed abt 3 months ago.

 

Hope to learn from other experience bros. And how much will a racing suit cost?

wah you want to go trackday ah? or just a free and easy track session?

 

how many km have you travelled so far with the EO? make sure your cooling system is working well also.

leather suits price varies from sub 1k to 2k+. from more budget brands like rjays to more ex ones alpinestars..

Have a gd sleep the night before,

Wake up early, have a gd breakfast and drink enough water.

 

Make sure bikes parts all on gd condition, tyres should at least have threads, better to change brakepads and eo.

 

Bring along tyre pressure gauge to deflate the tyres abit( i forgot till wat psi)

 

Pump full tank before going in, throw all waste inside body..

 

Dress for the crash, Race suits varies with brands and qualities. I went with padded jacket and combat boots and jeans. Now i think must wear knee pads also.

 

Then go ahead have fun!

Not actual trackday bro, I still noob Just free and easy wanna get a feel of tracking. Since it my first time there wont be really pushing myself or the bike to the limit. Got alot to learn, have to step by step.

Do you use ur S4 too? issit good for track bro? 3k km is alot? So I think I shall change the EO maybe put x1r and nano before hitting the track I think several PG sessions will pass before I save enough just for the suit lol.

yes i used my s4.. its decent enough for me for some fun on the track. good suspension is also impt, apart from your braking system and tyres.

 

hmm, remember basic outfit is full face helmet, armoured jacket, riding gloves, jeans, army boots.

It started drizzling at 10.30, but I went in anyways because I wouldn't want my trip to be wasted. Track was wet so didn't push much.
