Hi Cardtac09,

80km/h might be a little too fast for a young bike, try to keep it about 60km/h. Because we don't have an RPM meter on the bike it would be difficult to gauge the stress on the young engine. 60 km/h would be a rough estimate. Also try to change up the gears early to avoid stress to the engine and gear box.

Its going to be very frustrating on the road, but this will ensure that your "fighthawk" gives you great pleasure in the long term

Hi Pika,

good you are on line, get with you. You got your hazard lights installed at UM, rite?

How is it so far? Do you have any problems with "blown out" signal relays?

viruz has been changing his relay monthly, due to blown relay, the signal do not function basically it does blink when turned on.

i installed mine at another shop and experience the signal blink faster as we go faster

i dont notice this on my bike with the hazard light installed, no diff felt. hazard light is blinking at a constant rate when turn on. signal function normally.

perhaps u want to take a look at my bike when we meet, my harzard is wired to connect direct to battery

connecting directly to the battery is a good way to do it. Mine the guy at the shop near my place connected via the signal switches. I guess that caused the problem. Anyway went back to the shop to "uninstall" the whole thing. Will probably go to UM to get it done if I want to. One more question, when your ignition key is off, does your hazard lights work?

Bros.. Any advices on how to get better Fuel consumption?...

Will contantly doing rapid acceleration increase FC?

What about leaving the engine on in neutral gear?

Ha, do give us newbies advice on how to save petrol ya?..

UM gave me the option when installing and i opt for the hazard lights to work even without the key (or ignition key off), there is pro and cons to this but since my box key is chain together with my ignition key, so i opt for it to work without the key. this allows me to open my box and put on raincoat or take something from it with the hazard light on. haha, its personal preference.

Hmmm.. is 60km at gear5 onwards be better? is it cuz give engine less stress or smth?

learn to listen to your engine, i am sure you can hear your engine screaming at 80km when u are at gear 4
