Does it help if you wire the IU to be inactive.

i.e: IU will only switch on when u start engine.

yeah i believe it will help. Before i got my bike, the seller who sold me the bike rarely rode it and batt died on a few occasions because of non usage. so he changed the wiring for IU to be active only when bike is started. after that his batt lasted much longer.

any buddies here have tried X-Rev engine oil before? read on some forums saying it's pretty good although its not a really popular brand here in sg. any comments or feedback from those who have used it? TIA!

i agree wit wat smellyboy said. it does help as the IU is constantly drawing current to it even when ur bike is off. putting a switch will help although is jus veri small current but it sure will help abit.

Guys my bike seems to off by itself during cold starts....I've just changed my spark plugs and the the problem is still there....what do you think the problem is ? I am worried its my injectors....then like that need servicing??....

check ur throttle body,tps sensor & air filter. injector seldom hv prob unless u always put addictives or pump jb petrol.
