what might be the cuz of these problem bro?i seldom ride my bike due to work but i do warm it up every now and then.

Take multimeter check your battery, rectifier n coil

 

 

Then see if it's charging properly

warming up e bike wont be enough to charge e battery. at least hv a weekly ride of 30mins or so.

if u r too bz to ride it. Lithium battery is e choice

Can consider disconnecting the battery when u are not gonna ride for a long time.

Its quite a simple DIY step.

2005 is old gen.

Hi Guys,

Recently I just got myself and old 05 R6.

 

I have problem with the bike which the engine will cut of during stop at traffic light, and seems like I need to keep my throttle twist to make sure the bike not dead again.

 

I read from this thread, this could be TPS Problem, however I have check self Diagnostic on the bike and the reading of D01=17 and D02=100

Seems like TPS ok.

 

Is it any relation with the bike that getting hot easily?

If the bike stop for 2-3 mnts the temp will reach 100C soon. But the fan always ON once the 100C mark is hit.

 

I got PC3 installed on my bike also, however dont really now how to check the map or check what map is used on this bike.

 

Any kind soul help and comment is greatly appreciated.

 

Which recommended shop you guys recommended to solve my bike problem?

replacing ecu might require u to replace ur ignition n keys as well.

Morning bros!

Just wanna check with you guys.

Parked my bike in the rain and waited for the rain to stop. It was raining heavily.

 

When i went back to start my bike. Can see that white smoke coming out from the exhaust.

But after warming up for ~6-8 mins. No more white smoke coming out.

Is this normal? Since the engine is cold?
