I set the shift light at 14k too, this is where I feel the power peaks at. I know dyno graph puts peak hp at 12+k rpm, however the meter reading is slightly off, when u do top speed runs u will know the power peaks around 13.5~14k.

 

You can switch off the shift light, but it really very useful! Try setting it to the continuous on mode instead of the irritating high frequency blink. The intensity of the shift light can be adjusted too, but I find max intensity required for daytime.

 

Just changed out old plugs (NGK CR10EK stock model) at 12.9k on this set of plugs, damn botak again, gap is 0.8++mm and visibly worn. It's a b!tch to change plugs, so I shelled out some $$$ for Denso iridiums IU31A, gap them to spec hoping for better lifespan. Took it out for a spin, DAMN :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

oh.. and de clutch tingy is de clutch housing loose liao. normal 1.. happens to every bike.. not onli r6.. no prob.. relac.. if u brake caliper got sound.. oso no prob.. relac oso.. hahaa..

so uve got a tick tick tick sound,

me too :giddy:

 

but it fine, a lot of ppl from messegenet got that too, unless the noise gets really loud when u rev it to 3-4 K, then thats where u neet to replace the CCT and maybe have a look at the timing chain guide.
