Diy Full Serivce.

Hi there.. wondering is it possible to do a full service Myself without going over to motor tiam..

 

Hate the feeling of riding over n taking taxi home. den have to take taxi there again to see my beloved bike.. Not to mention can save $$!!

 

anyway bike i'm talking abt is Nsr 150 sp.. maybe those who have done it before can give me some advise ?

Bro are you refering to:

 

1. Change of EO

2. Change of Sparkplug

3. Washing of Carb

3. Tuning

 

Normally servicing would takes about a few hours ma... Why not going to JB... Service good & Cheap Cost. DIY... Possible la... but will takes you about 1/2 day or more... But when it comes to disposal of EO... Wa headache liao...

Actually disposal of used EO isn't that difficult. What i do when i diy my oil change, i pour back the used EO into the bottle that i just emptied out, and dispose of it at my local petrol station. Just ask the petrol attendants where to throw, they will gladly show you

went there b4 with my fren last time... forgotten the price liao~ however it's about RM100+ like dat... but what i can say~ cheap things no good~ good things no cheap... better survey around den decide which shop 2 head down 2. best to have a few frens to go along with u... as u guys know how "safe" it is in JB...

servicing:

- spark plug

- engine oil

- wash carb

- wash valve

 

full servicing:

- above included

- new piston rings & pistons

- new block gasket(not necessary.)

- maybe decarbonise of exhaust

no matter how many ppls you bring it wont Guarantee your safely it just make you feel safer
