Was juz wondering, can swingarm get bend due to accident?

2004 - KTM200EGS / Wave 125S

2005 - XR400 / Wave 125S

ouhkay. But u need the main impact to be at the rear to cause it to bend am I right to say? Or its very fragile, whereby if you crash definately your swingarm will be bend? Coz I crashed and the front is wrecked but not the rear. but motordiam says my swingarm is bend. Can believe or not? How to determine?

you buang and you bike got run over by a lorry??? thats possible...

maybe it was already bent before your accident?

nope.. it bent due to my accident. bt the prob is, my front portion is wrecked not rear. I was wondering how come my swingarm was also bent. Any more ideas?

did u drop ur bike hard after u hit ur front ?

even if u drop your bike .. shudnt be tat easy to bend also

 

is there a possibility tat it got bend due to inertia?

if it got bend by inertia .. i think sp wud kinda be made in bangaladesh

moombaz as u said u got into and accident rite.

 

Did u go to the shop to see whether bent or dent.

 

possibility of denting is higher

 

but still possible to be bent e.g bike crashed front rear goes up, landing rim sideways on curb, causing rim to dent and giving an impact on the swing arm, causing it to bent slightly.

hmm.. Rep-56, yah my bike flipped. so i guez itz bend indeed. maybe i'l go n take a look at it myself next time i go back to d shop. tanx alot guys
