Hey ladies, I'm taking my 2b now. =P

Was wondering what are your first bikes?

I'm really a noob here. I kinda like the School's honda mega pro.

I like naked bikes. nt the sports bike kind.

Any recommandations? Whats a good bike to start with? Something light?

Thank you! =D

Depends.

On your height, weight, type of road to travel on, your usage and your budget.

There is gals here, riding scrams, cb150, kupkias, scoots & phantoms.

For really light weight, nothing beats a kup kia.

For some, phantom is heavier, but it travels better on certain road cos the centre of gravity is lower. And you can put n lots of boxes to hold all your barang barangs. Meaning on person, you dont have to carry so many things.....so that should consider light for the person.

generally, I noticed that the selection of ladies riding jacket is very little when compare to men riding jacket. Just like to know where most ladies got their riding jacket. Preferably, reputable shops.

Demographics.

There are very few female riders here compared to men. That may change somedays, but for now, it's more profitable to stock for the majority.

Besides, Asian women are generally so small in size that even the Euro women sizing are too large. U can only look for Jap brands like Komine, RS Taichi and hope that their WS sizing comes in (with limited designs).

Been there, done that for my partner.

After giving precise measurements as requested.... The jacket came in a wrong size. Shipping it back will take weeks and at my cost. Came back, still wrong size. Ended up selling the piece of crap.

Later on, found a whole Dainese set that could fit her. All by luck.

Since then, I never trust giving out measurements online. They never come as you want it. And you don't really get to try it on to see if the style fits you.

What looks good on that Fabio-lookalike model may not look good on me or you.

Of course, this is just my personal opinion.

hmm deus, somehow the jacket on him makes him look more gay than a rider interested in protection~ I have now varied thoughts of being totally nude under a track suit. haha~ mmmmmm

Lets just say, for jackets, I wear a XL. But for riding jacket, I wear a junior's XL.

And most of the Singapore Female Riders I've seen, roughly fits into the Juniors Small or Medium riding jackets.

And we dont have underage riding here, so shops here do not stock those sizes.

Some.... in fact, quite many asian women can actually wear Euro/US kids size.

Dont remind me of trying out that Dainese Riding pants, and the knee guards was at my lower shins, just above the ankles....... groan......

You consider that every rider have to curve their legs a bit on the bikes seat, and that should take a few more inches off the actual height of the legs, on the bike seats.

Seat height of bikes is generally 29" straight up. And if you estimate the curve needed to stand that bike properly with legs curved. We are probably needing crotch to heel height of at least 32".

So errmmm.......you need to climb onto various bikes, to estimate what kinda bike you should take on.

Yes, I could recommend a CBF150, a Pulsar or a TZM even.

My very first official bike was a Vespa Corsa.
