will give him/her a week. then i got no choice but to refer his number plate to LTA. with photos and video will works for sure.

give the owner a week and from that will gauge if he is ignorant or impossibly helpless.will write him a note. EO comes out from crankcase and drip all over the down pipe, impossible to go un-notice plus once heat up should hav smell of burnt EO..

i wont go to LTA first..everybody deserve a 2nd or 3rd chance.:)

Thank to Andr3w for highlighting the LO issue on FX 4273E.

We like to assure Andr3w that a well built and well maintained NT650V will not leak like what you saw on FX 4273E. Our member in this tread are one of the most active group in keeping our bike in good running condition. Some of our member own the workshop manual and are actively hand-on to put their personal touch on their NT650V with loving care. If you work back on this tread. You will be able to see a 100% striped down bike in their private home. NTV member took their riding hobby to extreme level to overhaul their own bike. Not too sure if your FJR bro is sharing their personal passion towards keeping and caring for their bike to that extend.

Honda is one of the top bike producer. Just to give you some idea. The NT***V engine pedigree is well tested for many years. They are used in a few popular models. eg. XLV750R in the 80s, XL700V Transalp, XL1000 Varadero, XRV750 Africa Twin. Our own Mr Goh, the world tour rider chose a 2nd hand Africa Twin for his world tour for a reason. Last and not least, The Honda Chief Engineers and their board of directors chosen NT650V blue print to replace VFR 90deg V pedigree to built 72deg VFR1200F as a FJR killer. The end product specks for themselves. VFR1200F vs FJR1300.

From your description above, my guess is, FX 4273E had a accident hitting a road debris and cracked his crankcase from the impact of a solid flying object. It is hard to imagine a leak of that degree coming from any class 2 Japaneses bike. However for the pass 40yrs, I have come across a handful of class 2B bikes with LO issue from your description above. Having said that, I respect your opinion on the LO issue on FX 4273E.

Form your posting with Thai language below, my guess is. You are most likely one of the 3 nations riding brother. Most likely, you must hv done a few Charity ride.

In Thailand, class 2 biker are well respected for their willingness to help the less fortunate.

Here in Spore, we can help FX 4273E to solve his LO issue for the common goodness of all bikers that share the same carpark and road. You are in the best position to start the first step by keeping in touch with FX 4273E. Top option is to advice him to send his bike to his favorite workshop. If he is facing financial difficulty. A cheaper option is to DIY the LO issue. I m able to give him a helping hand for free. I m sure, our Dr Deauville and other Deauville bros will be able to help if they can find time on sunday to do a charity project to help FX 4273E if needed.

All we ask is, kindly take your first step to communicate with FX 4273E owner. We the Deauville bros will be able to take it from there.

Kindly keep us posted or you can PM me direct.

Best regards.

for nt 650, leak oil normally from coolent pump(cost $150) or the coolent pump seal o-ring(cost $3), the crankcase seldom got problem, unless like y2k said, cracked the crankcase from the impact of a solid flying object, if like this, cost should higher alot.

(the cost is only the new parts cost.)

i got malaysia visa, valid 1 year, to next year july. next weekend lets go to anywhere of malaysia to make one round? or lets make a meetup on any weekday's night? how about @ turf club?

i got a piece of pvc from a sofa bed, but is light yellow colour, i try to change my bike seat cover, but the colour looks very funny... next time meetup i will show u my funny new seat cover.

i aslo try to order 650 piston ring(std) and both side crash bar covers, but all said no stock, any bro hv idea can get it? each 1 price around $60.

Hi Andr3w, thanks for being so kind and understanding. I, as a rider who had been to oversea trips with other bikers, be it Honda , Yamaha , Suzuki , Kawasaki & etc, I really appreciate their company especially when we are riding together. We feel a sense of belonging as a group who are matured and caring for one another. I strongly feel what happened to you due to the the engine oil leakage scenarios as I had ever encountered it before. Personally, I know it is quite frustrating when we had to park in an oil contaminated lot and take extra care in maneuvering the heavy bike out.

Thank you for taking the initiative on your steps towards informing the owner concerned, and you are a friendly and thoughtful biker too.

Bro...May peace be with you and ride safe too.

its always nice to have the same sentiment, matured bikers around.i managed to catch a glimpse of the owner who is a taxi driver but he drove off too fast.i will try to speak to him personally.i prefer talking in person.

same time any recommendations for shops for Deauville? easier for me to strike a conversation and same time can pass him the number and address.
